Could someone advise what areas in Surrey, BC are in walking distance (5-10 min) to the skytrain.
I am trying to find a short term apartment in an area in Surrey that is convenient. I do not drive,
so easy access to buses and trains means a lot.

Having a knowledge of such areas will help!

Thanks PMM for the excellent site!

BCGuy,

Thanks for the tip. Which areas in Surrey are considered safe - could you please suggest some. If there is none, please
say so. We will be absolutely new and any helpful hints will help a great deal.

Surrey is kind of seen as the unsafest suburb of Vancouver (between Richmond, Burnaby and Surrey), so if you have a choice I wouldn't recommend living there. This obviously doesn't mean there are no safe neighborhoods at all, but it wouldn't be the best choice when it comes to safety in the Great Vancouver Regional District.
