about old passport

HI again all,


I have recently received the medical request.

But the New delhi has requested old passport too along with new. In letter mentioned as below

Passports- Original Passport along with any old expired passport for all when the above requirements have been met.

What does it mean?...I have to send all the old passport or I can send only one of expired passport. I had two old passports and one of them has lost.

Kindly help me..I am in confusion.

Deepak,

Just follow the instruction of CIC. They sometimes do this as part of their background and security check. They will check entries from your old passport if indeed you had declared in your application all the countries you had stayed for more than six months after the age of 18.

and ..what is the actual meaning of "Any of old passport..."?
Does it mean one of them or all of them?

should mean "all old passports" but as you have lost one of your old passport you have no other choice but to send one, do you have any copy of FIR for that lost Passport or any proof that it was lost, that can be of use.

It was old expired passport,as it was useless for me..I even do not know it is lost or misplaced.Should I mentioned that it is lost or just send which I have.?

Send all old passports you had after the age of 18. For the lost ones, write a letter to CIC and tell them they are no longer availalbe. Put this under oath, meaning get a lawyer for this.

I agree with the friend.put this under Oath as I have also recd. a similar letter.

However, I only have ony passport......so that fine in my case..........by the way any clue on the time it takes to get your VISA once your get your letter.for Medical/Landing Fee/ Passport (all in one).
