About "Any other Names"

I sponsored my parents for permanent residence. In the meantime, my parents got tourist visa. Since, I filled the forms myself for my parents. But I missed one section- Any other names- i recently came to know that my father changed his name after completing his B.A. But I mentioned 'Not Applicable' in the first application and subsequently in the tourist visa. But now we are in the final stage and need to fill up forms again. We are supposed to submit his date of birth certificate but since he had different name at that time, I am wondering, if I should mention that now. Please advise. Would really appreciate any help.
