its a silly question i know that.but i need to make sure that everything goes well.i was asked to send A4 size envelope along with my passport to london.Is any one know the which type of envelope they are asking?is it normal type or with bind typoe?pls let me know

Its an envelop of size 210X297mm or 8.27 × 11.69 inches( normal paper size)
As per ISO (International Standard Organization) A series cut sheet sizes, A4 is 297 mm long and 210 mm wide sheet. Equivalent size in inches is 11.69" long and 8.27" wide.
Nearest US size is Letter size which is 11.0" long and 8.5" wide written as 8.5x11.
Nearest Traditional British size is Quarto which is 8.0" wide and 10" long written as 8x10.
