I am  a big stammer from the country Nepal. I am married. I have completed MBA( Master of Business Administration) degree  in first grade from Indian University in the English Medium. I am working in the organization related to the distribution  of oil in Nepal as a Deputy Manager for the last 4 years.
But due to my stammering I cannot work properly, whenever I speak people do not understand properly, some people even laugh, no body like to speak with me or make friend, no body obey me and co-operate in work. I am always in tense that I will be fired. I even tried to go to the new job where I can stammerer comfortably, but I am always rejected in the interview.

Now I have decided to go to Canada and stay there because there I do not have any relatives or friends to hide my stammering  or to be ashamed and embarrassed of stammering. I like to live my new life as a stammer. I am ready to do any job to earn my livelihood.

I want to request to the kind heart person or the businessman of Canada to help me to settle in Canada. I will never forget the help and ready to serve and help the person who helps me throughout my entire life.

hi

u are better off in nepal, than going to Canada. because every job in Canada requires fluent, understandable and clear english.
i know many people who are unemployed in Canada because they cannot  speak english language properly.
in canada, u need to speak english language at workplace, in social circle, with friends, at home and everywhere.
just think about it.
best regards
hitesh.

brother Nepali,
I feel sorry for you hearing your story. I dont know how can assist you to immigration to canada. I hope and pray that god will give you strength.
pls go through below link and find out whether you are eligible for applying under skilled worker category.

 http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp

N.B: by the way, are you taking speech therapy for your  stammering?

i feel like with your current situation you can do jobs in back offices where public interaction is not required. One thing is sure in Canada no one would make a joke or laugh at u in case they find u stammering. Canadian are quite sensible people.  Buddy, don wait for 'kind hearted person", make ur own way. Check CIC website, if u qualify apply on ur own.

Understand it must be difficult for you but I hope it will push you even harder to accept yourself and move on with life - The CIC website will help you find information on how to migrate - see that you have been given the details already by dr hasib .

I hope you meet the criteria and would be able to file the application without any delay- cheer up & take pride in your achievements!

Hi Nepali,

I am PROUD of you.

Despite the barrier/inability to perform well in our so called Society, you have achieved a prestigious degree with flying colours. Make your disability your strength...you should listen to Explorer 1's story. ( Here is the link:http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/i-am-flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyying-to-canadaaaaaaaaaaa-t40042.0.html;msg272074#msg272074 )....

Also, like explorer1 said - Don't wait for anyone to pave the way for you. You will be a much satisfied person at the end if you do it ALL by yourself. Don't worry there will be people on the way to help you, if you needed.

Start digging the web link provided by Dr. Hasib and don't take hitesh's post to heart as he is just trying to warn you of reality and not hurt you.....yes, you will face obstacles and its not going to be easy and the worse situation might be that you end up in the same situation as in Nepal.......so what.....don't be afraid to face the circumstances and maybe it will turn out to be good for you.

@   sanity...what kind of a person are you? You just made a post regarding  DHL giving your Application package a World Tour and your application might miss the CAP, yet you are here with your encouraging words for Nepali.
Hats off to you Sanity...really admire your spirit.

Nepali..
To apply for PR to Canada u dont hve to bother abt your stammering.. u jst need to qualify with adequate number of points.. If u hve enough points u can apply for PR to canada.
There are professionals who can help u with your problem of Stammering.. they might not b able to help u get rid of your stammering but will be able to help u make your speech more clear and easy... practice at home the techniques they teach u and apply for PR.;.while the PR gets processed .. u will b able to better your speech.. Good Luck

Trust, I guess. Don't we all have to trust eachother ....that is what I am doing. But if he just playing with our emotions then my efforts are wasted. But I tried sincerely to help and that is what matters the most to me.

Hey! I am sorry to hear about your problem. But I know it's not a disability like some people said here. My sister is a Speech Therapist and she helped many children in school preparation, among them not only stammering kids but kids who were not able to pronounce many sounds and probably would have been laughed at in school. I know it has a lot to do with breathing techniques and taking your time before you want to say something. At first you speak slower to do your best but after practicing it you will speed up. It's possible not only in childhood, I knew a teenage girl who became a very confident and attractive person after my sister worked with her. I am sure you can find a specialist in your town, it's worth the money you will spend for classes, by the way they last for only 30 min a day maximum and you see results in days. Don't agree to live with it if it's something that prevents you from your desired life style. Do something about it. As I said it's not disability!

stammering doesn't matter. lot of people dont even know english and they are living here since decades.
just come here and face it, its not a big deal.
try to speak slow and clear, take long breath before u speak a few words then repeat,
try to be clear thats it,
people dont expect full fluency from immigrants, esp in big cities,
i met a guy on street, who asked me some question in arabic, he didnt know english at all, its common,
lot of people come here as sponsored spouses with 0 knowledge of english,
but yes u wont get good jobs, but since u said u are ready for any job, u'll be okay
