I have read through the treads and I can't seem to find out the answers to my question..
My Argentinian Boyfriend and I have been living together in Mexico for about 5 months now simply so we can be together.  he is a painter who just gets by in Mexico.  He has a Mexican Bank Account and we expect that during High Season it will begin to fill up but it certainly won't have enough money in it by Canadian Standards to seem like a sufficient amount to pay his way.  My family is more than happy to write him a letter of invite and I have just e-mailed a buddhist organization in my town asking if they would invite him to volunteer to paint buddhist images as that is primarily what he does.

I am wondering if having more invitation letters will help and if a sponsorship is only when applying for permanent residency.  We just want to go and visit my family and I want to see my sisters new baby.  We are planning on leaving Canada to return to either Mexico or Japan so I can teach English.  I want to write an invite letter as well but I too am broke..So I don't think it will help..
I would like some help we are going  to provide all the documents necessary even if it means a flight to Japan proving we have no reason to stay.

Please help a helpless person

Probably the Buddhist organization's invitation would be sufficient but he has to show that he has sufficient funds for his stay in  Canada. The organization's invitation should be in the form of an undertaking (sworn statement) where they will be responsible for him during his stay in Canada.
