I am a little confused and will be thankful for help/clarification. My question is related only to the Listening and Reading sections of the test.

I read somewhere that the candidate is given 10 minutes to transfer the answers on the actual sheet. Is this time given for both the listening and reading parts of the exam or only one of them? If only one then which: Listening Part or the Reading Part?

Hope my question is clear

Please download books from FreeBookspot.in.
There are plenty of books on IELTS and The rules in those books are current and correct.
There are MP3 files also, so that you can take mock test.

Thank you all. One more question only related to the READING  part:

Do the candidates get only 1 long passage to READ and answer or are there more than 1 passages. All I know is that the time allotted for the READING section is 1 hour.

you will get 5-6 passages..

one of them will be like a long descriptive article on a detailed topic which you would end up spending the maximum time.

the rest all are short , and their nature would be anything from instruction manuals to notices , sales brochures, etc. Things which we get to see in daily life.
