Hi there,

We were in Canada last summer and I met up with the president of a company. He said he might be able to offer me a job. As I was pregnant at the time we didn't progress the matter any further.

I have now had my baby and wanted to ask you guys on the forum, whether you know what the procedure would be if a job offer was made to me. What would the company in question have to do with regards to paperwork and processes? Who would they need to contact in the first instance and what do I need to do with a job offer letter once I get it, as I am in the application queue as a skilled worker in London?

Is there a set of definate procedures for Canadian employers to follow if they were keen on employing somebody from abroad?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards

Start by reading the CIC website.
