Hi all
I will be moving to Ontario soon and will be settling in Waterloo/Kitchener/Guelph area. What are your recommendations for the following:

1. A good/reasonable mobile plan for the family.
2. A bank to open an account and get a credit card without Canadian credit history.

Thank you for sharing...

Wind has good rates for a mobile phone.
Be warned that the service may drop (at certain locations) - but they are trying hard to take care of their customers.

Scotiabank will have a newcomers package ( you have to ask for it) that includes a credit card right away.
I think other banks do too..

Welcome to Canada!!

PS - Others may have more information
