Dear Qorax

two major questions from my side

A)There is a typing error in my form which i have submitted.
my wife has done masters in personnel management and we have given transcripts for the same duly signed by the concerned university BUT while filling up the form my agent has written the name of the course as : Masters in commerce,......... Maybe because she has done her bachelors in commerce and he must have got confused ( in short he wrote M.Com in place of MPM ( year of completion is right i.e 2 years)

B. I have submitted the form under NOC code 0631 ( as you can see in my details) and i have 5-6 years experience for the same. From july 2010 till date my job falls under  different NOC 0015 and  by the end of this july my NOC 0015 would complete its one year ( as this is my new job and NOC code is different too)

do you think i should inform about this to NDVO/CHC ?? about my both the problems?
will it create any trouble in my future processing if i do not inform them now?

pls revert

Thanks and regards
sonir

Dear Qorax
A) as suggested by you i am going send corrected form regarding educational details of my wife.

B) should i go ahead and send my present job's NOC code ( as 0015)?? because while filling the application i have mentioned wrong noc code 0631 in place of 0015

please note that i have 5 to 6 years experience for 0631
but presently ( from july 10 till date ) i am working as 0015

my agent and i was not aware of job code of my profile while filling up apps.

what if today i send correction to NDVO how they are going to take it ??

please suggest

if i remember rightly dibs got rejection because of NOC code typing error

pls suggest how are visa officers going to react after getting such a request..i have no idea thats why need some help

Hi Captain,

The message is little long ,as I wanted to explain whole picture to you!

I had applied for  Permanent Residence(Federal Skilled Worker)NOC#3131as Industrial Pharmacist to CIC.These are the chain of events that followed:

1.Ist application sent in Nov 2010, returned by CIC stating “it was incomplete”.No fees was deducted and no specific details provided. Settlement fund details shown as family liquid assets.

2.2nd application sent in March 2011 with same documents as 1st application except:
a. Settlement fund documents showing liquid assets from my personal account.
b. Travel history as Affidavit from Notary. (Is notarized version necessary?)

3.Received email in April 2011 ,from CIC stating “they are not able to locate application(DHL showed delivery on 2nd march 2011.)
4.On 09 May 2011 application fees was deducted from Credit Card.
5.On 10 May 2011 received email with an UCI No./Application stating “I was not eligible for processing in NOC (National Occupational Classification) code: 3131 - PHARMACIST category, as I have not provided sufficient evidence from your employer that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties.”
6.In the above i.e. 2nd application, I had sent reference letter from my current employer on Company letterhead stating my name;date of joining the service; designation and “ letter is given for immigration application for Canada on personal basis”. My employer refused to add the further details citing confidentiality. Other documents enclosed were:
1.Appointment Letter(Notarized Copy)
2.Confirmation Letter(Notarized Copy)
3.Increments and Appraisal letters(Notarized Copy)

7.I replied back on 16 May 2011 with Fax stating “I strongly believe that I qualify to be considered as Industrial Pharmacist, as I have necessary educational(M.Pharm-Industrial Pharmacy) and work credentials(worked for more than 7 years as Pharmaceutical Research and Development Scientist, at various positions during my tenure in India's leading Pharmaceutical companies).
8.On 19 May 2011,I received email from CIC stating “my application is concluded and should you have different or additional information, you may wish to submit a new application for permanent residence in Canada”.

NOW I AM PLANNING TO MAKE FRESH APPLICATION.
I HAVE CHECKED I FULLFILL ALL CRITERIA TO BE CONSIDERED AS INDUSTRIAL PHARMACIST.I HAVE SCORE OF AROUND 74 FOR VISA ELIGIBILITY.I WANT TO KNOW:

A.CAN SUBMIT MY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AS SWORN AFFIDAVIT TO CIC, STATING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, IN CASE MY EMPLOYER REJECT MY REQUEST TO PROVIDE JOB DETAILS IN REFERENCE LETTER?Does CIC accepts/considers such documents?
B.ANYTHING SPECIFIC TO BE CAREFUL WHILE APPLYING FOR NEX TIME.

Apart from imm008 document checklist documents, enclosed additional documents as per the requirements of New Delhi-Visa Office:
A.   Birth Certificate Notarized Copies for Principal Applicant,Spouse and Daughter
B.   Marriage Certificate Notarized Copies
C.   Passport Notarized Copies for All
D.   Foreign Travel History Details(Notarized affidavit)
E.   Educational Documents Notarized Copy for All
F.   Experience letter from current and past employers.
G.   Settlements Funds Details(Chartered accountant certificate along with notarized Fixed       deposit copies and Postal account statement from Post master)
H.   Photo Requirements in Separate Envelope containing 6 photos each.

Kindly revert!!!!

1. Do the corrections 'one @ a time'. Firstly, go with the spouse's details.
2. If the NOC typo wasn't with the 'qualifying' one - there's no danger of rejection.

Hi Saket,

With twin rejections u sure have to tread with care.

Now, it's actually Ok to submit 'self-declared affidavits' w.r.t. the experience claims. However, it should be noted that the VO's take a holistic approach with such docs... they view/assess the file in totality... not merely going by what the applicant states. That is to suggest that the IOs will base their presumptions with any-many 'other' docs that u have provided... to be opinionated on your 'actual' work profile.

Which means, plain & simple, that 'sworn affidavit' will alone not suffice. Especially in your case.

It'd be wise if u could support your experience claims with more documentation... there's a "once bitten - twice shy" syndrome u see! U could submit some of these, alongwith that 'affidavit':
1. Your business card
2. Your imdt superior's business cards
3. Work related pictures, videos
4. Your editorial insertions in trade magazines [if any]
5. Work related mails, letters, projects etc.
6. Promotion, increment letters
7. Docs supporting your attendance in trade fairs, seminars, dialogues etc.
8. Copies of professional membership/s certs.
9. Copies of your annual appraisals [if u have any]
10. Your imdt supervisor writing your JD.

The above is exhaustive, not limited to only what have been suggested. As much docs u could provide - that much is your chances of success. Try your best to get the point-10, that could be a deal breaker!

All the very best.

Dear Qorax ......

i have an inquiry about one of my relatives .....he is my cousin brother.
. His Wife applied under skilled worked in april 2007. they got their file Number in that case.
Now as there is'nt any news about that case since,  so they are thinking to withdraw that case
and my brother( husband) wants to apply fresh case under his name  in Quebec Skilled category. Have a few questions .

1) Is it wise to withdraw long pending  case?
2) Can they keep 2007 case and apply another one now?
3) Is it possible for husband to apply fresh case while his wife is awaiting decision in another case where he was secondary applicant?

U can't communicate with CIO-NS... their's a one way channel.
BTW: It's fine if u have changed your financial product... as long as u have the required funds somewhere, which can be documented -- u r good with it. Nearing the meds the VO'd ask u again an updated POF - send the info then.

thanks again Sir.... Kiss

Dear Qorax

I am a pharmacist want to apply under 3131 category of FSW.
Actually i applied last time for immigration in sep 2008 (application submission date) and i was through agent who prepared my case under 6221 and 1221 i.e, Technical sales rep & secretary..I showed experience without employers name mentioning on the application like that 2001-06 as a secretary..part time..(though my graduation period was also same ..graduated from pakistan 2001-06..Bpharm session..) & 2006-2008 as  a medical representative IN DUBAI...after sometime i got NQ (Non qualifying) Letter from CIC ..sydney  along with bank draft which I Paid application fee i.e,550cad..

Now I want to know as i didn't submit any documents at that time except two pages application form...Do they have record of my that experience/or application form???

Originally i have pharmacist experience from 2006-2009 here in UAE..with original labor contract mentioning the pharmacy name ... but because of agent consultancy , he prepared my case like that .

Can I show original experience now like 2006-2009 as a pharmacist...i have only doubt may be they will object that last time in application form (if they have record) i mentioned as med rep experience and now i am showing as a  retail pharmacist..

Just guide me in that regard

thanx
