Dear Qorax,

In case of re applying - Can we request CIO to consider our old IELTS scores to assess language proficiency if those are still valid and lying at VO offices in files awaiting their turn for processing?

You know if this can be granted it can save time and money as well....

Cheers

Parry

Hi Qorax

I good reader in forum. I observed now CIO issued rejected application with calculation points. Before this type of letter issued by VO. That means changed their rules after 26/6 June-2010. PER with minimum requirements. If applicants score 67 or more then forward to vo for further processing. What will do VO? Please let know. Thanks for your effort.

Thanks for reply. I read OP-06 there one things like that
For applications received on or after February 27, 2008, and before June 26, 2010:
If ... The applicant's total score is equal to or greater pass mark then the visa officer may pass application.
• The applicant's total score is less than the pass mark then the visa officer may refuse the application.
• The officer is unable to make a decision due to lack of information or documentation or there are doubts as to the legitimacy of the documents then the officer may  request in writing specific information or documentation to
clarify, other than additional evidence of language proficiency for applications received on or after April 10,
2010; or consider a personal interview (Section 13.2).
OP 6 Federal Skilled Workers  2011-06-17 submitted For applications received on or after June 26, 2010:

If ... The applicant's total score is equal to or greater than the pass mark Then the CIO officer will forward the entire application to the visa office identified by the applicant on the IMM 0008 for a selection decision.

The applicant's total score is less than the pass mark refuse the application (negative selection decision);
• record outcome and reasons; and
• send a letter to inform the applicant

Note: CIO officers will only make negative selection decisions. Applications that meet the pass mark are forwarded to a visa office. The visa officer will review the application and case analysis provided by the CIO and make the selection decision.

I want to know from you that I got PER on 30th of March -2011. Now my E-cas showing Received by visa office. Will VO calculate points further? Another asking few of forum member received refuse letter due to  insufficient points from CIO at first stage. Before June 26, 2010 VO issued this type of refuse letter.   Hope you understand my question. Please reply me.

salmoalikum
i sent my application and received by the cio on 25 feb 2011
they encashed my cc on 2 march 2011
up to first of july 2011 i got neither e mail nor mail from cio about my status
i became worry and according to the advice of some friends on forum i sent to them eguiry
the cio replied  by giving me application number E0000 then 5 numbers
and stated that my application is awaiting review by an officer
just right now i used this application number as file number on cio electronic site to check my status unhopfully
the surprise that i found that they sent to me a letter on 31 march 2011 of course i received no thing from them
and my status indicate that the eligability review is complete

i am confused
is the application number is my file number?HuhHuhHuh??
does this mean that i got my file number?HuhHuh?
is the file number means PER or still not may status awaiting PER OR NER?HuhHuh??
WHY they said my application waiting review by officer (they mean cio officer or visa office officer)?
really i am cnfused?HuhHuhHuh?

can any body explain to me?

1. Usually it takes 3-4 months from the meds to get the PPR.
2. Yes, they might ask u for it, 'coz u r there for over 6 months.

Next Question: How would they know?

Dear Qorax!

We have applied for FSW in 26th February 2010 and I got the 2nd AOR on the 12th of Aug 2010.
The application is in process since 22nd of March 2011  and the e cas shows IN PROCESS but with pending review and I think it should say We started processing your application on .......date.

I read about your thread of the 4 stages of the processing and where it says in process after that it should be medical but some forum members saying it is still "the file in queue".

Do you think we gonna  get medical this year?

I have sent a case specific enquery to London VO but about 2 month ago but they did not answer.

How long do you think it will take until we get medicals or any answer or to be in real process with "We started processing your app...........

Thank you

As long as u r 'in process' it's Ok. Anything written inside is immaterial. In about 4-6 months from that e-Cas u should be getting your meds, if there weren't any ADRs.
