Hi, I would just like to ask re use of PR Visa. Our visa expires may 31, 2012. Is it advisable to land that month also or should be few months before expiration?

As long as u 'land' one day prior to the visa expiry date - u should be fine.

1. U aren't bound by any non-cancellable clause in the employment contract, r u? So, u aren't bound to work with them beyond the 2 weeks notice pd.

2. Ppl usually go to Sask to be able to 'sponsor' any/many relatives... probably your's is one such. If u move your job to another employer - then that AEO becomes 'invalid' - which declines u from FSW2. Thus, it'd sure affect your apps.

Qorax
Thanks Bro....Thank you very much you are really helpful.
As far as I am concerned, I can leave my job any time with notice period. I have not any contract with my employer.
So you mean to say chaning province will affect my FSW at big extent but not my CEC. As I already applied for my CEC in April 2011. I was palnning to apply under FSW as well. From all your suggestion I conclude one thing: Don't apply under FSW with AEO and move to Saskatoon. It will not affect my CEC though. Am I right? Thanks

Dear qorax,

while filling schedule 3(economic classes), i have one query that while giving your work experience details, how to describe times where there are gaps. i.e suppose you are unemployed or not working for some time. then you should write under occupation "UNEMPLOYED", or leave that time period.

for example a person has following details:
from july 2009 to present    ......... working with company    XXXX
FROM JAN 2009 TO JUNE 2009 ............... WORKING WITH COMPANY    XXX
FROM JUNE 2008 TO DEC 2008 ...........    UNEMPLOYED

     AND SO ON

HOW TO WRITE IT IN WORK EXPERIENCE COLUMNS OF SCHEDULE 3

Hi Qorax

I am leaving for Toronto in this week from India and would like to know something about Mobile Phones. I read your post about WIND mobile. Can you please clerify me that they charge $25 for unlimited voice incoming and outgoing calls in ontario province but is this plan valid for WIND mobile to WIND mobile or WIND mobile to any mobile. Please clerify me this as I could not get the same even from the WIND mobile website. I will use mobile more for the incoming purpose if you have any other good plan. Please guide and help

Thanks a lot in advance

Windmobile is good... @ least in the GTA belt. I've no issues till date - even while moving around in Montreal, Calgary, PEI, Kingston, Detroit, Niagara, Gatineau etc.

Yes, that $25 plan is for 'unlimited' i/c & o/g, from anywhere, even international i/c. For calling international u'd require to purchase the $2.5 cards, or be with some of the many sites like Vonnage.

They have something called Wind Zones... basically it's places where they r active... beyond the wind zone/s u'd be calling internationally. Yes, here in Canada, if u have a 'local' plan - all out stn calls r referred as 'international', which is a rip-off. Nonetheless with Wind, i/comings would yet remain free, from anywhere... but not the o/going part. Within Wind zones - everything is free.

And the Wind Zone is pretty big. Unless, u r a frequent flyer [a businessman travelling o/side the zones regularly] u'd have hardly anything to complain. I haven't paid a single penny over & above the $25/month as yet.

Hope that helped.

Dear Quorax,

I M Oct. 2007 applicant from Dubai and still waiting for my MR. I ordered my CAIPS in Dec. 2010 and got it on 25-01-2011. After submitting my all docs. I got only one additional document  request from Ottawa office which was the scan copy of my spous's passport.

I want to ask you shall I again call for my GCMS report again as there has been six months over my last CAIPS or wait for two -three months?

Regards,

No issues @ all there.... be free to 'land'.
The system has your complete name... it's only that while printing some characters aren't visible, 'coz of lack of space in the form.

Relax & go fly!
