Most likely, No. This kind of e-cas status has been seen widely for MI-1 applicants (pre 26 June 2010), however some people who ordered CAIPS in this status, did not get anything on their file (No points allocation was done).
This is most likely an indication that some action has been done on your file, but not a PSDEC/SELDEC (Paper Selection Decision) for points allocation.

Great....thanks!

Hi Qoarex

You've been a very kind advisor with ample interpretations of applied immigration laws, policies and procedures. Since you've been active on this thread very regularly I thought writing to you on this thread though I myself feels that it's not the correct one. My apologies in advance for my ignorances.

The thing I need to ask was about the delays to my specific case. I've applied under NOC 0111 and had received 2nd AOR in August 2010 since then I've not received any communication from visa office and my ecas is showing Received by Visa Office.

Please note that I'm a Pakistani National and residing as well in Pakistan. I submitted my documents directly to London Visa Office in April 2010

You are requested to analyzie or give your valuable assessments that when can I expect any furhter communication by Visa Office. It's also somewhat worring for me that my Original docx are with visa office.

Trust you'll spare some time to reply.

Many thanks for your time and paitence.

Best Regards, hsk

Is your NOC still in the 29 list? If not - u could expect delays... around 24-36 months to complete the case.

There r 2 things that's making the delay:

1. Applicants from certain region r placed for severe background checks.
2. If the NOC isn't in the 29 list - u could expect delays.

Nonetheless, in about 24-36 months u should get going.

Shoot an email query to your VO & check-out...

24-36 months from the day your 2nd stage docs reached the concerned CHC [your VO].

Hello mr. qorax....

I have applied from Sweden under FSW1 3112 (General Practitioner) but the category was filled within 1 week of the submission of application. Is there any means to confirm that my application was among the completed applications that were included in the category. If accepted then in how much time would i get response from them.

Thanks.

Waiting for ur reply.
