1. like everywhere there r 'term-deposit' schemes here as well, in all the banks.
2. U can also open one of the current/savings a/cs & keep the funds idle... anything over $5K minimum won't attract any charges.
3. U must info the bank, in writing, about non-transactions for that long - else the a/c would be frozen after 1yr.

hi seniors i need your help,my ECAS is showing RVO,inside details are ,
We received your application for permanent residence on June 10, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 13, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
what is File transfer,I have received 2n AOR from VO dated 14th April 2011 with my new file number which is different from the previous file number,
My new file number is not opening since it has been allotted to me i.e since 14th April 2011,
Is there any thing wrong or this is normal, when shall my new file number open,
waiting for reply,

du we need to send original marriage certificate because they mentioned in there list
Original marriage certificate or "Nikah Nama" issued by an official responsible for
the registration of marriages in the district in which the marriage took place and
bearing the Nikah registry seal, along with a certified English or French
translation ,
secondly du we really need to change spouse name in Passport or we can du it after apply ,
du we need to send my BABY Passport she is only 1 month old ,

Today I received a letter from CHC alongwith my Passport stating:
1, Bio Film lifted on your passport, exposes picture, unable to issue on this . Please have this passport renewed/corrected and return as soon as possible. must be received at this office by :
2, Please explain the procedure for this and only my PP is sent .
So kindly guide.

1. I'm not sure why the London instructions for Pakistan suggests sending the 'original' marriage cert. In other cases we only send its notarized copy. But, as it says so - I think u need to send the originals. 2. There's no requirement to amend/change the pps to accommodate the spouse's name. 3. Yes, u have to send the copies of the baby's pps. 1. It means that the lamination of your pp is worn-out/damaged/mutilated/removed. 2. They didn't return the others 'coz the issue is only with your pp. Actually it's good for u. 3. Reach your passport office / consulate asap to rectify that. Qorax |

as i know passport is mandatory to make medical and is there any factor on my application changing a new pass?i am living in other country, our embassy is not there i must go to other country that is why it take long, is that possible taking medical with old copy passport?

No. U have to present your original pps to the DMP. If the meds come in between, u'd still have 45-90 days time to get it done [as applicable, as per the meds letter]. If the pps do not come by that deadline - u may request your VO to extend it. Relax !Qorax |
