Hello Qorax,
I am here again to find out
1) how long does it take for stamping PR visa after PPR? My file is in Detroit Visa office. 2) I am already in Canada, so for landing do I need to get to nearest border (between US and Canada) and exit and come back? 3) I have no valid US visa, can I still do that?
Thank you dear Qorax.
Cheers, Bhanu.

Dear qorax,
Im here again, if you remember me im the one who asked guidance in filling up the details of military service with a username of argentina.
however i forgot my password so i made again another 1 which is my present username.
im pre june 2010 applicant my mr is Aprl 2012 during the process of our medical, on May 3, 2012, a request from cem to comply for the "details of military service" for me and my spouse which we complied and submitted on May 15, 2012.
and our medical sent on May 14, 2012 also. medical results received added to my ecas on May 28, 2012.
our ppr received on June 20, 2012. and submitted our PP on June 25. recieved by cem on june 26, 2012.
now i observed that issuance of visa from ppr for pre-june applicants here in cem took only less than a month, there were lot of applicants received ppr after us had already their visas , now my questions are:
1. Does applicants that have mil background has a different process compared to civilian applicant? 2 Since they already have our PPs, for our case when we expect our visa be issued?
Thanks you for your time.

Dear Quarox, I am a MI-2 Applicant and my NOC is 2151 (Architect). I got my GCMS last month. Here I found that my NOC showing Dentist. Also, my job experience showing 3 years, where as it is 4 years more and i submitted such documents at the beginning. They gave me 69 points and wrote that passed. But with job experience i shuld have more 2 points. Now, Send a correction letter to SGVO regarding all this matter. But, still they didn't replied me. Is it a trouble of NOC mistake? Mistake is done by CIC, not me. Even the Job experience also. So, what will happen next? with 69 points, am i in safe position?

Dear quorax
I am highly interested in keeping my PR status in Canada live but I am moving back to my home country for marriage and see the sick member of my family. The thing is that now I would like to stay there for one and a half year (second journey) and then come back to Canada for ever. I got PR status in March this year but went once before too for two and a half months and then came back. My question is that will there be any questions raised on me if I come back after one and a half year to Canada, obviously after coming I can easily stay for 2 years to maintain the status. what do you say?

1. As long as u've over-67 points u r good. 2. Unless they ask u to clarify - keep the 'lid' on that NOC error [in GCMS]. They'd themselve rectify it before PRV. Qorax

As long as u do not void ur residency requirement (and do not stay overseas beyond 3-yrs in last 5-yrs] u r good. They may [or may not] ask u about ur long stay abroad - in which case if u state that u r now moving for final settlement - u'd be fine to enter Canada. Qorax
