Dear Qorax,

I forgot to write my name and file number behind the bank draft for RPRF. Is it going to be a problem, what can I do now?

Many thanks for your advice!

Dear Qorax,

Need to know on this point.

Keeping your permanent resident status

"Your permanent resident status allows you to live in Canada, but there is also a time limit on how long you can live outside the country. To keep your status as a permanent resident, you must live in Canada for at least two years within a five-year period."

I want to know whether two years counted on single stay in canada or if a person live every 6 months n come back to home country ?

Dear Sir Qorax,
One of my friend already got PR visa but the passport is going to expire after 2 months. e.g his passport is expiring on October 2012 so as Visa & he wish to travel by the end of August 2012. Will this thing be a problem in travelling to Canada? Can immigration authorities of Pakistan OR Canada enquire about this thing? Should he renew the passport or not?

Thanks in advance.

What was your last ecas status before  DM ¿ ?
plz tell us in detail....
Thanks.....

Hi

We have applied for federal skilled worker immigration in 2010 february for heavy duty mechanics.

Our application status said it was in process but I think it was not real in process as it didnt say that we started processing on ......date.

And than on the 2nd of May 2012 we got the refusal letter saying that job that the main duties that you listed do not indicate that you performed all of the essential duties and a substantial number of the main duties , as set out in the occupational description of the NOC.Therefore I am not satisfied that you are a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Noc 7312.

When we sent the full document sometime in end of July 2010 we also sent the RPRF which I have a receipt dated on the 16/08/2010.This was for the RPRF.

And we also sent the processing fees to Reciever general for canada dated on the 15th of June 2010 .This was made with foreign draft .

Thank you

U must complete 2-yrs in the "last" 5-yrs here... how u do that isn't important... u could break-them-up in non-sequential parts.

As long as the PR Visa & the pps r "valid" [even if it's for one day] he can 'land' [from the Canadian point of view]. About the requirement of exiting Pakistan -- regrets I wouldn't know.

Regards,

As long as u've submitted the proof of loss [old pps] & have explained the circumstances to ur IO -- u r good. Tad delay - YES, but not considerably.
