Dear Qorax

you mean to say that background checks go on and medicals is a different thing or once you get the medicals it means that BC is over... & SC is pending..

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards
Rawlin

Since u r a CHC-ND case ur b/grounds checks continue beyond the meds+pps submission. Usually, it'd take 3-5 months for u to get ur stamped-pps back. And No... those small trips wouldn't effect ur processing considerably.

HI Master Qorax pls....need your inputs.. again..

I would like to share to all the goodnews I got my PPR today...you are right Sir Qorax I got it after few days, Thanks a lot for all your inputs, and I had a question again Sir  pls.? My dependent is the Phil. backhome should I ask them to send my daughter passport here in Canada and send to La office together with mine or should my dependent send her passport alone to Local Canadian visa office in Philippines ? Pls. help I'm kinda confuse here, no instructions with regards of dependents outside Canada in the email though,Thanks again. your help guys are also welcome. Master Qorax need your inputs again. cheers..

1. All pps [of the entire family] must go 'only' to the CHC dealing with our case.
2. Pps can be submitted in parts, but it's 'advisable' that all of them go together.

Hi Sir,

Getting a pre-arranged job 'from' overseas is a tough call... a matter of luck, but not impossible though. Unless u know someone here it gets all the more difficult. Usually Canadian employers r averse to foreign hiring, b'coz most vacancies could easily be fulfilled locally. Thus, unless the opening is for critical traits or the employer 'wants' to hire someone specifically - they might not take the extra efforts to fetch someone from abroad.

The only way to check ur 'luck' is by responding to job adverts... either of the newspapers or online sites [e.g. Monster, Workopolis etc.]. There r some good HR consultants as well, who could be touch-based with [link given below]... but yet, much depends on that elusive 'luck' factor... nonetheless worth a try for sure.

I'd definitely 'avoid' those immigration consultants who profess AEOs for a ransom, b'coz most of them would be fake offers, which might not fall thru with CIC. Yes, there could be some genuine ones too - but that's akin to finding a needle in a haystack. BEWARE!

Hope that helped...

1. If u notify them of ur current location - they'd organize ur interview [if any] at a nearby area, not at ND.
2. Yes, meds could be done anywhere in the world, thru a DMP.

3. When ur meds+pps call comes - u may chose to submit 'only' the meds + docs[if any] - and request them to 'accept' ur pps at a later date under a separate PPR, explaining ur situation. And when that occurs - u could fly to India & submit it - in which case it shouldn't take more than 3-4 weeks to return, stamped. This is if they do not transfer ur VO, which they might not as explained earlier.

All the best.

Ps.: I had the Yezdi-King, remember that model? I was in deep love with it...

Hello Qorax
Thank you very much for clearing my confusion. I got my first paycheck in Denmark today !! I will mail them the offer letter, payslip, the Social Security card, Bank Statement and also request them to update my address. I will keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Yep, I remember the Yezdi Roadking. I had one in Maroon and the underneath of the exhausts were well seasoned taking deep turns !! The one and only bike I had. Miss her !!

Thank you once again for your time and suggestions !!

Hi Qorax

Thank you for the quick answer.

I just got some fees back from the VO after the refusal .

Do you know should they give back the processing fee and the RPRF as well or just the processing fee?

Thank you

Me/my wife landed together on 29th May 2012 together from Windsor.
I received my(I am principal applicant) PR card yesterday i.e on 30th July 2012[I am residing in Toronto]

Waiting for my wife's PR card? Is there any specific reason for delay of my wife's PR card?

I tried to call 1-888-242‑2100(cic no); it is always busy and gets disconnected:)

Dear Captain, Hope you are well.

Iam an NDVO MI1 candidate, I had sent my first set of docs in Mar 2010,  full set in July 2010 and my file has been "In Process with date" since the end of January 2012 but haven't received MR yet, what do you think is causing NDVO to delay in issuing in MR, when do you think I should be getting the MR?

Thanks in advance
Manonthemove

Captain, looks like my query got lost in the ocean of queries you receive on a daily basis, could you advise on the above please
