dear qorax sir,
good news to share that i got my MR/RPRF/PP on 18th july 2012(no PCC as it was already sent with application) and done with my medicals on 23 july.
can you please answer my doubt as i am prettymuch confused.
after submitting my file to CIO,CS,i had travelled to singapore/malaysia for 7 days on visitor visa for tourism purposes. i have sent them my passport/RPRF/medical receipt to NDVO on 25th july ALONG WITH UPDATED TRAVEL HISTORY FORM(SINGAPORE AND MALAYSIA) which they HAVE NOT asked me during MR/PP/RPRF request. will this delay/reject my file?
have they completed my BC or they will now?
and in how much time should i expect my passport back with visas?
will be highly obliged with your response.
thanks and regards

Dear Zeecee

As quoted by Aneyshar:

'You leave that space blank unless you were given an UCI from a previous application. It's not mandatory to include one.'

This is from the Guide, item 3:
"Indicate your Universal Client Identification number (UCI) or Client Identification number (Client ID), if known (8-digit number). Otherwise, leave it blank. If this is your first application with CIC you will not have a UCI or a Client ID."

Dear Auditor

As quoted by Captain Qorax in his other threads:

'Canada has strict anti-piracy laws. Ppl get caught all the time & then the music follows. I'd advise anyone not to try importing illegally downloaded SWs/contents.

However, it's practically impossible for IOs to sift thru everyone's baggage/laptops/mobiles/HDDs/SSDs... so, unless u were tipped-off I don't think they'd know. But why take the risk?'

Captain Qorax has explained it very clearly, hope this helps you.

1. Yes, u've to demonstrate ur settlement funds [it's another matter a BSO might 'overlook' to check it, but regulation wise u r required to]. POF is not required 'only' if u r FSW-2 or FC case.

2. Ur husband will not require to 'show' anything. He should be carrying a 'copy' of ur pre-stamped B4 though if he's bringing-in any goods.

Dear Qorax,
I have got my second line 1st may 2012 saying "We Started Processing of your applica....on 1st May"
After our consultant sent a Case Update email and we got a reply as follow:

Good afternoon,
This application has been reviewed by an immigration officer and determined to have met the Selection criteria for immigration to Canada.
The next steps in processing should take place within the next month. This should include the issuance of medical forms.
We will be in contact in due course.

Yours sincerely,

But till date we have not got our medical request. Do you think there will be a problem in my application. Is BGC completed or still is going on.

Please please please advise.
Thanks,

Hello Qorax

I migrated to Denmark from India on the Green card scheme in May, 2012. "Fortunately !", I secured a full time job in my field within a month. I checked my E-Cas status after a very very long time and the status has changed to "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 23, 2012." Even though the status was "In Process" earlier, the previously mentioned statement was not displayed. CIC received my application for PR (submitted to Nova Scotia) on February 2, 2010. I was wondering, if i could request CIC to process my application in Germany. Would this be possible?

Since, it will be difficult to communicate with the New Delhi from Denmark, any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks and have a great weekend

Dear Qorax

I am a great fan of you and have been reading ur post since long

my med were done in March 2012 (MI-1) , since then i have been told that back ground checks are under process, its only last week when i received aCSE reply that file is pending with Immigration office foror review, reply came from IMS (Now i have a concern that IMS is in canada, why they have replied instead of LVO), is it normal or the fi,e is transfered to canada due to some special reasons. I would really apreciate if u can give me some idea / suggerstion

also how long u expect Mi1 to get the PPR1

Two things happening here:
1. Early 2012 - processing priorities changed - thereon 2011 cases got into 1-yr's mandatory 'wait queue';
2. Case to case - processing time / obligations / works differ [sorry, u've heard it all the time I know].

Pls keep the spirits high and u'd soon be looking at it!
Qorax

Dear Qorax,

Please can you throw more light on this 1- yr's mandatory 'wait queue'. For MI 2 & 3. Is it from the date of receipt of application in NS, the date of PER or the date of additional documents update.

Awaiting your kind response.

Thanks

Good day captain Qarax

please  have three questions to ask
1. upon receipt of ppr  and the principal applicant  decides to  divorce the secondary applicant will it affect the issuance of the visa to the principal applicant since its a  fsw APPLICATION not PNP APPLICATION . i ask this because i no that the spouse would have added point to his application process

2. secondly is it possible for the  principal applicant to pick up the visa  without out  carrying the secondary applicants passport along

Dear Qorax

since you seem to be the expert around here...can you please help me?

I want to relocate from Europe - Greece to Canada. Which is the proper 1st step? Find a job or apply for Visa and which Visa? When I tried to apply for Visa they told me I do not have many chances because I do not have a job offer from Canada....When I found many jobs that suit my qualifications the emlpoyers said we cannot hire you if you do not have a valid work permit...

What is going on Huh? Please help me!!!
