Dear Qorax

I know you probably have answered this question a million of times before, however I can't find it anywere around the forum, so please I have this question: I had PPR last week and by the time Medicals were done I had renew my son's passport which was expired, so.....do I have to send both passports??? the expired and the renewed one??? or just the new passport??? thanks in advance!!!!

As per procedure - YES.
It's another matter that if u submit only the new one they may not ask... but many a times they would.

Dear Qorax, (Sorry for asking again...please reply with your valuable feedback)

I have received the reply from CHC london after 60 days f sending the PPS and they are carrying additional security check for my wife PP.
As per thier records her name as (the one I send in 2007 application - is with Father name) after that I changed her passport to husband name and we have send the new passports to CHC London and updated them......But now they are saying that Visa Issuance department is taking additional security check on her name change.
They have not retured the passports nor told the timelines?
How much they can take? as per my lawer we should wait for 2 weeks mre.

Kindly advise.

Dear Sir Qorax,

Hope you are alright.

Sir, at what stage CHC LDN ask for supplementary information from applicant? I mean with medical, before medical or after medical.

Is supplementary information is a part of back ground check or security check?

Looking forward for your reply.

Best Regards,

Adroit

Dear Qorax,

You have been of great help to many of my fellow immigrant applicants. Hoping you can help me out with my questions and situation regarding my PR application. My passport was going to expire in September 2012 and so I have applied and got a new passport (has a different number than the old passport) this week. But before I applied for new passport, during medicals, I have shown my old passport as per identification purpose (the MPR was not accepting driver's licence for id purpose). Over weekend I got an update on my E-cas saying that my medicals are received. Do I need to update Visa office (Buffalo transferred to Detroit) with my NEW passport number? If I do, will such update after medicals, delay the issue of PPR? How important is it to update my new passport number? Also, my temporary Canadian visa is going to expire at the end of this month (I am living in Hamilton Ontario, CANADA). I know I need a valid permit and passport but do I need to have a valid Visa when I submit my passport for stamping?? Really hoping answers for these questions that are bothering me, my friend. Thank you.

 Hi Qorax,

I got PPR from seattle office on the 26th of June,2012.Passport was received on July 4th,2012.

On my timeline on July 19th, a 'Decision made' was added..Does it mean that my passport has been stamped and sent cos a friend

of mine who resides in the US with the same date of submission already got his passport back. I reside in the Canada,so am not sure

if it is because of that, that mine is delayed..Please I need your advise and I want to be sure if my passport has been stamped.

                Thank you.

Hi Qorax,

I'm back again asking you to predict the most awaited medical request from CHC.

Like you said earlier that I can expect it in 3-5 months from ADR, completed on 9th July.

Do you think there is still a hope to get it? or it's over? Just tired of waiting... Went to India on leave. Waited every day for medical request but nothing came. At last I had to come back to work..

Thanks,

Parry

Hope is always there, why not?
With an Aug-11 case u could sure expect something around Aug-12.
Pls keep the faith!
