Yes fingers crossed, but nowhere in OP6 it is categorically  stated that one is required to achieve this much Band or that much Band, any way IO may find any pretext for rejection,at the same time he keeps in mind concrete/solid reasons/ factors if challenged by the Applicant in a court of Appeal,

1. 5.5 @ W : ditto as replied above.
2. Address 'mischief': happens with concurrent case files - when the 'older' one is reviewed - it plays the old tune.

Hi Captain!

DO you have an idea how to succeed or how to apply job being an economist in the phils? I'm planning to use this profession (my first course) in applying job since nurses is under regulated job.  Thanks a lot.

Dear Qorax,

I need your advice, I have sent pp, rprf and med on 14 April 2011 under NOC 1122 and my ecas is 'In Process' and 'Medical have been received' is shown inside, rprf receipt of date 2 may 2011. What i want to inqiure is my spouce had applied for H1 Visa for U.S way back in 2002 and that was rejected. we have given details of that also to ndvo with rprf on 14 April. could it be the reason for delay in getting DM or is it normal process.

warm regards,

Hi qorax ,

My employer applied for my LMO   @   HRSDC and yesterday I got the approval .

My work permit is expiring on Nov 2011 (I was scared so I applied for the LMO a lot earlier) . Because I got the approval on 24th May 2011 , the LMO is expiring on 24th Nov 2011. I have few questions regarding this :-

1. On the LMO letter , my name is no where mentioned . Its just the NOC no and position. Is it fine ?
2. What is the suggested latest time when I cal apply for work permit renewal ? I am thinking of applying in September as my work permit is expiring on Nov.
3.The LMO opinion is valid for 3 years , so does this mean that I am sure to get Work permit for 3 years.
4. Are there any chances of work permit refusal after getting successful LMO ??
5. While applying the work permit , what documents I need to submit with the LMO .

Thanks a lot in advance .

Dear qorax
Paying RPRF is confusing me, My VO is Cairo and I live in Kuwait
the request for RPRF was instructing 2 options for payment
1- Deposit in Citibank account in egyptian pounds>> Not available in Kuwait as Citibank here deals with companies not Individuals
2-Bank Draft payable in favour of "Receiver General for Canada " in Canadian Dollars
the draft will be sent to Cairo VO but Is it payable at a bank in Canada or Egypt Huh?
one more thing, do I need to attach the form Imm0008 application [updated-Visa Officer didn't ask for it] and medical package courier tracking no. with the draft of RPRF to VO?
And explaination letter for the pregnancy issue with medicals to the main centre in London???
please advice
Thanks
