Dear Friends,
Please advice on my issue.

I got the refusal letter on the basis of JD mismatch along-with Original docs.
My name, address and contact details written on refusal letter was correct.
But the reference they used under the heading of 'Our File' : B0XXXXXXXX was neither my old file number nor my new file number.

What do you think? People those got their refusal letter has different "file number' written on the letter as mine. Or they have their own file number written on the refusal letter??

Kindly guide me for further action? What shoudl I do ??

Dear Qorax / Leon / experts
Very very grateful to you after reading a lot of information given by both of you and your team. Thanks for that. However I have received my passports today for myself, wife & 2 kids. My passport pages are about to finish. I need to get new Bangladesh passport Frm my working place in Singapore. I am planning to land in canada late this year or early next year as i am trying to relocate internally in my company and the other reason is completion of my son's school final.
Please advise on how to transfer my visa to my new passport if i het one, how troublesome it is, is there any risk of doing this, is there any effect on PR as i haven't landed yet.
I asked front desk officer, singapore (who gave me all passport) and she told me it will take time & sometime risky.
Please help to give your advise and comments. If anyone has the answer, please help. Thanks. God bless.
Dear Qorax,
Expecting your advise / comment on the question posted above. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Probably that was a typo.
1. U've 30 days to request ur IO to reconsider his/her decision by submitting fresh/updated docs with a soulful plea.
2. U've 60 days to file for a judicial review.

Hi Qorax,

Could you please advise me on this. I understand many people on this forum have the same situation.

Hi Qorax,

I did my medical in 27th Feb and submitted passport and RPRF on 19th March. On 15th May I wrote an email to NDVO and got the below reply on 9th June.

"This file is currently pending review by the responsible processing team and a decision by the officer.  As soon as that review has taken place, our office will contact the applicants if any further documentation or information is required.  "

I notice that many people submitted their application/passport later than me got their visa issued.

Could you please advise which could be the reason of delay in my case. Is there anything to worrry?

Thanks

Hi Qorax,

Could you please advise me on this. I understand many people on this forum have the same situation.

Could be any [or multiple] of these:
1. Ur security clearance hasn't come thru yet,
2. There's a wait queue with the IO,
3. Ur VO is overwhelmed with workload,
4. Ur NOC isn't under priority,
5. "Quota".

Dear Qorax,

I talked to my local MP a couple of weeks ago and he told me, my file is currently processing in Ottawa, my VO was Buffalo and filed my application in April 2011 and got AOR 25-May-2011, file transferred to Buffalo at June and got RCMP at the last week of June-2011 after that I submitted my updated documents, even confirmed from local MP and he said your all documents has received (e.g marriage certificate in ON and my new born in ON).
Now I'm still wondering when Ottawa will start considering our emails or inquiries? What would be the best bet to  know about the status?
I can always see RBVO and frustrated. How about GCMS?

Thanks,

Dear Qorax,

Needs ur urgent guidelines......I am waiting for my PPR since last 3 months after completing my Medicals......as a matter of fact on medical request they didn't asked me the POF. According to my Caips notes...V.O quote that......PA is claiming 23400 CAD in Bank acount noXXXX, Original bank letter and account summery and 6 months statements are on file.LICO appears met....
My query::::
as a matter of fact i had to draw the amount to purchase a home here in Pak.so my account has nominal value of funds now.........I am just waiting for PPR so if they ask for POF again i ll submit that at once.......Am i doing the right thing?
according to LVO..my background checks are going on......so r they gonna check my account on their own in "background checks" or Background checks only means security or criminality checks???
** I have been replied with two of the forum members n they states that their accounts was never been varified after getting medicals till PPR stage.........So Dear sir, Pls waiting for ur kind guidelines?HuhHuh
Please reply ASAP.

Regards,
Rehan

Dear Qorax, please guide,
As i am waiting for PPR, i have a querry. My passport is going to expire in March 2013, it is valid for 9 more months. Should i renew it now or wait. What is best in your point of view.

I commend you for the effort in making this thread, I'm grateful that I came across this post at my time of need.

Sir, I recently received back my passport with the visa stamp and COPR, I'm currently here in Canada (work permit) and planning of landing at one of the land border crossing down south of Calgary. My questions are:

1. How do I classify the jewellery in our possession at this time, do I put them under GTF or GACC?
2. We are planning of going for vacation this Autumn to attend a wedding thus bringing the jewellery, do I have to present the GTF or GACC list before we fly out, do I need a stamp or anything to confirm that we had this jewllery with us here in Canada?
3. On our arrival, do we have to declare again this jewellery, do we need to show the CBSA the list with their stamp?

I appreciate your kind input with regards to the above queries.

If u renew ur pps u could have an extra 1-month of PR visa validity & land till 26 Apr-13. Else, u'd get it for Mar-13 expiry.
