My case in-process status 17-1-2011, additional dox request revd 2-Feb-12, Education dox and proof relationship, which sent to LHC dated 13-Feb-2012

After 4 months I received other additional form's update requested on dated 20-June-2012

1  updated IMM8 forms
2. Updated IMM5406 form for you and spouse
3. all family members photos

1. On this stage Can i sale my Property (Flat)  which is show as proof of funds. ?
2. My educational and Job verification have been done ?

Dreamtocanada, I got request from VO like yours.How do u solve this plz let me know.I am very confused.Lots of payslips how can I can collect i lost beginning of job payslips?Plz help me seniors as well.

Any one have an idea whether an interent invoice dated (June 2012) is sufficent to prove that my spouse sister is living in Canada.... or do I have to send her ( bank statement , credit card statement) which are not avaliable.. is thear a risk that the Visa Officer will not be convinced
Note that she was just granted Citizenshipat May2012 ... I have her Canadian passport . PR Card.. driving lisence, birth certificate.


Please Helppppppppp  , as I need to score  the 5 points for adaptability granted for a relative living in Canada... otherwise I wouldn't hit the 67/100 score .

We have landed safely in Saskatoon.

But here is one doubt.
Our purpose of settling in saskatoon was to sponsor my sister but now the rules have changed.
Is there any way I can sponsor her?
Or is there any quick course which her husband can do to get qualified under FSW?
Both of them are Fashion designers.
Plz give ur valuable suggestions.

Dear Sir,
I'm march 2011 fsw1 applicant.in process from 14th nov'11.but no MR.ordered GCMS notes & came to know that they want to verify my educational credentials.I 've contacted the university but no verification request has been received yet.its almost 7 months .how long will it take to verify educational degrees & what is the mode of verification.
until when I should receive MR.

either they will write a letter or call directly..in most cases they will call..it will take minimum 3 -4 averagemonths to update the info of edu doc verification in gcms..when u ordered gcms?

my time line is also same like you.mine is in process from nov 15th. 2011     .they sent my edu doc for verification 18th of nov and updated the same on march 2012..in my case they called directly...

Thanks for the help .... but what I wanted to clarify that she is not working she was studying  ( so no HR Letter  & No taxes to be paied) .. and the house she was living in was a governement house , do You think that because ( she was granted the citizenship at May 2012 ) this would convince an officer that she is fully residing in Canada ... what I listed before is the ONLY things I have & Will Have....  Still the big question ....Is this enough .....

I have received the following email from the CHC after submission of the repeat medical tests for my son. ( medical furtherance ):My Medical was done on 14 APR2012

lease noted:They have not asked for any tests.
he hasn't any TB history. But when I consult Chest specialist (according to specialist it could be a Inactive TB or it could be a be sercodisis) After CT scan he sent the reports to CHC that it is not infectious and non communicable disease. Sent the reports by him on 6JUNE 2012. But my Ecas is showing only (We started processing on your appl. Is.....Apr 12..). I am worried.On this stage my case could be rejected?I am MI3 applicant. no, you can't use property evaluation. it can only be liquid funds(money in bank account, FD).

Calgary, June 28, 2012 — Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney today announced the latest step in re-designing Canada's economic immigration system.

Effective July 1st, 2012, Citizenship and Immigration Canada will place a temporary pause on new applications to the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and federal Immigrant Investor Program (IIP).

“We have been making lots of changes to our economic immigration system,” said Minister Kenney. “We will take the next six months to do a lot of the heavy lifting to get us closer to a fast and flexible immigration system.”

The pause will allow CIC to make important changes to its economic immigration programs before accepting more applications. This is an important step in moving towards a faster, more flexible immigration system, while immigration levels are at a historic high.

Since the launch of Canada's Economic Action Plan 2012, Minister Kenney has announced a series of changes to CIC's economic immigration programs. They include:

•eliminating the backlog of old FSWP applications;
•improving the selection of FSWs;
•creating a new Federal Skilled Trades Program;
•modifying the Canadian Experience Class to help transition successful skilled temporary workers to permanent residence;
•changing business immigration programs to target more active investment in Canadian growth companies and more innovative entrepreneurs; and
•moving towards a new application management system, to develop a pool of skilled workers who arrive in Canada ready to begin employment.
“This temporary pause on new Federal Skilled Worker applications will allow us to set the program on a new course as we intend to launch revised selection criteria soon,” said Minister Kenney. “The pause has no impact on the number of workers Canada admits into the country, as CIC continues to process applications already received. Current immigration remains at historically high levels.”

Application intake is expected to resume in January 2013, when the proposed FSWP regulatory changes – which will be published in the Canada Gazette in the coming months – are expected to come into force.

The Immigration and Refugee Protection Act allows the Minister to issue special instructions to immigration officers to enable the Government of Canada to best attain its immigration goals. Since the 2008 Action Plan for Faster Immigration, four sets of “Ministerial Instructions” have been issued relating to Economic Class applications.

Under this fifth set of Ministerial Instructions, CIC will also introduce a pause on new federal IIP applications. This pause will remain in place until further notice, allowing the Department to make progress on processing its existing inventory.

As Minister Kenney announced earlier in April, CIC will be consulting with provinces, territories and stakeholders on ways to reform the current IIP in order to maximize the economic benefit to Canada. The Department is also consulting on whether to create a new investor program on a short-term basis, to promote growth in the Canadian economy.

The temporary pause on FSWP applications does not apply to candidates with offers of arranged employment or those applying under the PhD eligibility stream. The full set of Ministerial Instructions will be available online in the Canada Gazette tomorrow.
