Dear Qorax,
I though processing time starts after VO issuing 2AOR. For instance, I submmitted FULL DOCS March 2010 and still has not received any ADR nor MR. Two weeks ago, I was informed they issued a New Case Number starting with an E===== which is the third case number assigned.
In conclusion, If it is like you´re saying my processing time has exceded the time frame. (14 months already).
Please share your views whenever you have a chance...
SFD
Your case processing started the moment your package came to your VO. Which timeframe r u talking about? the CIC website guideline? Remember, that's just a 'guideline' - for the "best-case-scenarios", which unfortunately many will not see thru. There r many variants to our case processing progress, many factors to be considered... thus, no 2 cases can be compared - within the same VO as well. Always address that guideline adding another 6-8 months to arrive at your timeframe. Anything earlier should be taken as a 'bonus'. Qorax

i realy appreciate ur reply
1. If u have not 'put' how did u send your POF? Keep @ least 75% of that fund safe, in the a/cs, till u get your visa/s. 2. Yes, info your VO asap along with all the necessary docs [search this thread for those]. Qorax

Hi, there...Help plz...
I have a simple question here. Couples had a citizenship test, and one of them was given an RQ on the day of the test. Any everybdoy knows that RQ takes very long time to process.
The question is: Could any of them withdraw his or her application for grant of citizneship so that he or she won't get in the way and delay the other?. OR just ask for separation of the file?. Your valuable input on this matteris very much appreciated.
Thanks,

1. Residency Questionnaire is a deterrent anytime. It's issued when the Citizenship Officer found/observed certain discrepancies in your apps. It's known that RQ cases take yrs. to conclude... In any case call-up the Citizenship Hotline to enquire on it. 2. Each applicant is looked at his/her own merits... thus, no one would 'get in the way' of the other - be assured. Nonetheless, pls post this query in the "Citizenship Forum" - u might solicit better responses there. Qorax

Dear Lost,
First of all, the new announcement will be in place by June. Through that announcement, new NOC list (if changed) will be declared and then you will be able to see whether Registered Nurse are there.
So, you should be fully prepared (with all necessary documents) for applying so that your document can be reached in CIC Sydney by the very first week of July.
IELTS (General) is mandatory for FSW applicant.
Don't get lost !!! Wish you all the best!

To Qorax.
Dear. A lot of ur and some other respected member's posts indicate a word Background checks, i have received my CAIPS + GCMS,52 pages notes, couldn't able to find this particular word. In the chapter of ADMISSIBILITIES only 3 headings were mentioned, captioned as;SECURITY, CRIMINALITY AND MEDICAL for me and my depandents as well. Either it indicates that they are satisfied with my backgroud checks or other meanings. Under these headings beside other information it is mention that the DUE DATE of all 3 headings is 15-11-2011.What is THIS DUE DATE? They will finish my case before this date or ll start all three on this date, Waiting for ur prestigeous words on this topic.

Dear Qorax, I have received an 'Invitation to apply' for New Zealand skilled Worker PR. If I want to process that as well, will it count against me as far as the Canadian PR is concerned? I mean, will the CHC have reservations about giving me PR if I ultimately do get it before the Canada one? Do I need to inform them about New Zealand PR application? If it is going to hamper my Canada application in any way, I could just drop NZ PR....only I don't want to regret the chance if I ultimately don't get the Canada one! Help. Beckett

dear qorax, i have read a lot of your posts and i was so impressed with everything that you write because it is so informative. in my case , i have a different situation.. i have a long time common law partner but cahave not declared him with my application because i still do not have the finality of my annulment yet.. i might be questioned by the embassy if my marriage is not annulled yet.. my question is , if I get my PR and land in Canada and come back after I get the finality of my annulment can i marry him and sponsor him at once? or land in canada and sponsor him as my common law partner? which is better ? actually i was interviewed and was asked why my annulment application the same year as my application for my fsw2 application.. I submitted my annulment application last august2010, my application for canada was nov. 2010 but i have answered them honestly which is this is the only time that I got hold of the money for the fees. I have been scanning the forum but i could not see the same situation that i have. thank you very much. Have a wonderful day

Running concurrent PR/GC apps all over the world do not hazard any 'one apps' - with any nation. Thus, your NZ PR case has no bearing over the Canadian PR processing. Rest assured. Qorax

Ma'am,1.) What will i use in my SIN application? or any legal documents in canada since my passport is bearing my maiden name? Ans: U'd use the 'only & same' name that's mentioned on your pps.2.) What will use in my application for possible job ? Ans: Anything whatsoever, including abbreviated names, viz Robert becomes 'ROB', Jaswinder becomes 'JAZ', and the like!!!
Good luck.Qorax

Thank you so much Qorax, for your reply! And a prompt one too! I only had a nagging doubt because some forums suggested it could have a negative impact. But you are sure to be right so I will go ahead with the NZ one. Wish you all the best in life. Beckett
