Yes, having a wide travel history increases the burden of security checks, which corresponds to some addnl delay/s. However, with that MR in ur e-Cas I'd opine that it's just a matter of days now for u.

Many Thanks Qorax,

Lets hope all goes well

Hi Qorax,

I belogs to FSW category with NDVO and my CAS shows as below
We received your application for permanent residence on August 10, 2011.
We started processing your application on January 25, 2012.
Medical results have been received.

On 19th March 2012 I had submitted my and my family passports with PCC and RPRF. As per Bank, RPRF draft was cleared on 10th April. In past I had visited only UK and also submit the PCC from UK.

Till today I have no news about my passport retrun with visa stamp. I had send the email to CHC New Delhi but did not got any reply.

Could you please advise when can I expect my passport with Maple Leaf Stamp?

Hi,

1. U should have ur meds in 3-5 months from that new in-process date, usually.
2. That processing timeframe, in most cases will not apply. It's an ideal case scenario.

Dear Qorax,

I wanted to ask about my application, actually I'm on FWS-2 already in Canada on work permit, I received AOR at 26-May-2011 and at June-2011 File transferred to Buffalo VO, I got RCMP request at 26 June-2011 which is done and sent at 29th-June electronically...
after that my ECAS showing RBVO, even I talked to MP, he checked and told my application is still on process of Background checks, I've Buffalo file number as well but don't know when these long and tiring BG checks will be finished?

Many of the applicant got their visa even they are landed, now I'm frustrated to see my ECAS status always RBVO... any suggestion when I can expect anything else further?

Thanks you very much for your sincere advice.
