sir
Now my daughter's passport is renew, should I send now or wait.... For MR..?

I had the similar situation, i had waited for MR and after MR immediately completed the renewal and sent the copies to LVO. This was suggested by senior Mr BIJU.
But I suggest if you have ecas is "In Process" with actual starting date, then you can take the above route or go for renewal don't wait.
You can order CAIPS this can provide details on next BFD.

Regards.

Don't bother your visa office until the following updates/changes:

- Change of address or contact information, including email address
- Change in family composition
- Request to withdraw the application
- Submission of an Arranged Employment Opinion approved by Human Resources and Social Development Canada
- Change to authorized representation

Keep the updated passport and send while MR or any docs update instruction from visa office.

Welcome back  Captain Qorax

I and my wife hv done our medicals waiting for ppr my wifes passport stillbears her maiden name

Is there any implications to it when going to submit our passport to visa office for visa collection
Do we need to obtain another passort bearing her martial name. Or should we leave it as it is.

Thank u in anticipation for your prompt response

It doesn't matter.
There's no requirement for u to change her pps. Also, it's not required that ur name is added anywhere in her pps as her husband.

Hi,

For 2010 cases this yr (2012) is the decisive yr. Around Sep-12 u could be getting something from ur VO.

Meanwhile, pls submit the copies of ur kid's renewed pps asap. This is mandatory, as well as it might rekindle something on ur processing.

All the best.

Dear Qorax,
You are the only one I would trust with answers to these questions:
1- My Medicals reached LVO on 16/03/2012. It has been a little over 2 months. My ecas does not show 'medicals have been received' line. Should I send a case specific enquiry, or wait?
2- Our passports expire in January 2013. If I renew them now before PPR, would there be an issue if the passport numbers are different at this stage? What do I have to do if I do renew them now?
Thank you as always.

That's what I meant... The line/s further was just an addendum.
She doesn't require to amend her last name into urs.

That's an ECU letter... Ur file has moved for further assessment/b-g checks. What the outcome of it'd be cannot be opined. However, it's not impossible to pass thru & get ur meds.

Hi Captain,

After getting waiting letter , can we be safe from screening such as points calculation, job duties, employer verification.....?

Background check mean crime background check or anything else...?

1. It could take 3-5 months from meds submission to the PPR, u aren't delayed yet, relax.
2. No issues. Renew it NOW, 'coz after PRVs it could be tricky to land with new pps.

Hi,

Regretfully, it cannot be ascertained. It could go any way, however quite plausible to get into next steps too viz. Meds, PPR etc.
