Hi Sir Qorax,
I've done my medicals few days ago. Total family members (3). Me my wife and 22 months old daughter. My daughter has been sick for the last few days due to stomach infection and got little weak her weight is reduced to 9.5 KG from 11, height is 85CM. Her stomach is OK now but had fever on the day of medical test due to soar throat and growing teeth. She was continuously crying in the clinic. At the end the DMP while examining physically said she is under weight and her Head fontanelle hasn't matured yet. He recommended X-RAY of Chest & both wrist joint. Both X-rays came normal no sign of rickets and lungs are perfectly fine. Is it something serious? Please give your valuable advice..

PS:- Her pediatrician has never complained about anything regarding fontanelle & rest. He just says that she is little under weight and will overcome by the time.

Thanks

Hi,

I don't think she'd have any issues with her meds due to that. Here's wishing her a speedy recovery.

All the best.

The doctor recommended those Xrays for her age determination. May be he thought her age not match with application .

I don't think so. X-Rays has nothing to do with age.

As a physician I know Wrist Xray is done for age determination. And ant frontanalle disappears at the age of max. 18 months . As there frontanalle present and your child is under weight, So he can confused her age.......

Hi Qorax. Welcome Back.
All of us are eagerly waiting for our mentor Qorax. You are really really indispensable for us!!!!

I wanted to get your advise for one of my friend who is planning to apply for FSW1 in this year. But the problem is that he is HBSAg +ve since last 10yrs with very minimal viral load. The viral load is so less that the doctors opined that it will not going to affect him in future even if to his spouse or children.
What do u suggest? Whether he should put up the immigration file or he would be rejected in medical because of that?
looking for your opinion.

Hi Qorax,
Pls I need your urgent reply and advice on this issue.I sent u a message sometime ago about 'not able to verify one of my work experience in my country due to the fact

that the owner died last yr'.U advised me to notify the VO immediately.I did notified them and submitted some other document to back my claim.I got a verification of employment

from the present management that took over the office.I already did my medicals in feb 2012 before this issue came up.It has been more than 3mnths that I got medical request.

I decided to send an email to the VO in seattle regarding the decision on my application and PPR as all the other people that we got medical request at the same time already gotten PPR.

I got this reply from the VO in Seattle which makes me worried.

Your file is with the Immigration Program Manager/Consul for review.  We will contact you after the officer reviewed your file. Please do not contact us unless there is a change of address or change in your family composition.  Please do not use the E-CAS on the website, it is not accurate and up-to-date.

Please understand that our office cannot provide you with an update of case status by email on a regular basis, but rest assured that we will contact you for the next stage of the processing of your file.

Will my application be cancelled.I have been living in canada for the past 3.5yrs and recently graduated from a nursing program in college..Will the 'unable to verify employment history in my country be a problem

with my application even though I was able to provide them with other document.I have been waiting for more than 2yrs now to get my PR..

I contacted the immigration through his personal email and he replied 3days ago(May 16th,2012.) that I should present another document to prove my work experience in my country and that the new letter and

the personal letter is not satisfied enough and that he is giving me 30days to make his final decision..And that the new document I presented to him in march was given to me by the new management of the clinic that i worked with after investigating through families and friends and

co-workers that i worked with in 2005..He gave me 60days from feb 28th 2012,which ended in april 28th,2012 to make his final decision and now he said he is giving me another 30days to get a document from

nowhere to make his final decision...

I do not have anything to give so I decided to reply him same day that I do not have any other proof and that I have presented all the proof that I have and that it would be justifiable to do re-verification of my

work experience..and that there is no need for him to wait another 30 days after the 60days of waiting.

I am still expecting his reply since 2days now and he has not replied me.

Usually BG check is done and after Medical security issues are checked. However, in some cases, they may check background again.

Usually one could check his/her e-Cas by loading either of the file Nos. However, banning one & accepting only the other isn't a choice in our hands. Typically if u ban one the complete e-Cas would collapse. I'd suggest u to contact ur IO reg. the matter.

Hi,

I'm not a medical practitioner thus I wouldn't know for sure. But what I understand is:

HBsAg antigen is present in the sera of patients with viral Hepatitis B (with or without clinical symptoms).

Thus, s/he'd be detected for HBV during the meds, which might cause a med failure in this case. As such, I'd advice u to Xcheck with a clinic before u take the plunge.

All the best.

Hi,

I might have notified u earlier that experience verifications from all previous employers isn't a must. The IO could resort to self assimilation in case one of the checks isn't possible, or could ask u any other form of clarification/s. Usually, much depends on the documentation that u've provided... if the exp letter do not pose obvious reasons to doubt, the IO might just accept it on it's face value. This is given the fact that some other verifications of the rest experiences had gone thru smooth.

As of now, if u genuinely do not have any other proofs to submit, I do not think u could do much on this issue, can u? Thus, relax and await his/her queries on it, if any. BTW, one verification being unable to materialize isn't a cause of outright rejection, usually.

Good luck.
