Hi Qorax,

I am the main applicant, my dependants are my wife and 2 sons, and my elder son has a student visa and was studying in Canada since last 18 months.  I called him to India as we had to submit the passports to NDVO.

My question is, if we get our PR Visas, will my son's student visa be cancelled?  I am asking because my son will go early as his study will suffer and we will be going after some time.

1.can u plz advice me a better choice for visa office?as,i'm residing in Bangladesh since 3yrs on short visas (single entry) but this time i've been here since 6 month on an yr visa (single entry) but 'll b soon traveling back to pakistan next month to complete my application requirements.which visa office shd i select?as i'm thinking if i choose vo for pak then it may b difficult for me to go back to pak for medical.plz advice me.
2.regrading proof of fund while submitting application,which document should i submit,bank statement or wat else?can v show required amount in 2 different accounts divided,one foreign and other local as conversion 'll also be cost consuming.can we withdraw that amount for some reason like traveling or else?i know that v r suppose to show the amount again at the time of medical,hoping that by than we'll b able to cover that depletion.
 i 've discuss these issue with other but no satisfactory ans now consulting u hoping a perfect reply.

                        I've recently done my medical in Pakistan. DMP recommended InDrop D injection [Vitamin D] for my 2 years old daughter. He asked just to take it orally & take another one after 1 month.  
I wanna know would this thing be a problem in clearing Medicals or not. I haven't heard about this thing before so kindly shed some light on it.

They r referring to a Section-15(1) of some manual. Which, I wouldn't know... OP-6 doesn't have that... Probably it's from the IRPA.

Hi,

1. U r permitted to choose an overseas VO only if u r a legal resident of that country since the last 1-yr. Visit visa stays aren't allowed.

2. Pls read IMM7000 (FSW guide) & OP6 (Overseas Processing, FSW). I believe they'd look for 6-months'+ bank stats. Yes, u could demonstrate ur POF thru any/many a/cs, either jointly held or singularly maintained, between ur dependents.

I just had updated E-CAS status that

"Your application was reviewed and we started processing it on 04th May - 2012"

Now, i have few queries regarding my case.

1. I have changed my job in April 2012 and my old company is closed now. They do not have any phone numbers running which i had given in 2010 May. I also have changed my personal number.

So, should i inform them now about my changed contact details and new company and job details?? How should i do that?

2. In every case, there has to be background checks and verification calls???

3. I have not send my PCC till date... Is it ok to wait for Medicals and send PCC with medicals?

4. How much time it will take now to get Medicals or any update? Are there any chances of getting VISA this year??

5. Is it true that they are finished with quota for this year and now they will not consider any applicaton of MI2?

6. And, One strange observation is the day you complete 2 years of application, many members got this status update that "you review has completed and we have started processing your file".. so is it merely a status change and nothing will be done?

Hi,

1. Update it NOW. U could just send them an email.
2. B/g checks - YES, verification calls - NOT Necessarily. Much depends on ur supporting docs.
3. U should've submitted them earlier, else it delays ur process. Ur SECCRIM stands "0" till then.
4. A couple of months... could be 3-4.
5. I don't think so. Usually the quotas get depleted around the end of the yr, around Sep-Nov.
6. After 2-yrs the 2010 files come out of the mandatory "wait queue", ur actual processing starts thereafter.

Hi Sir Qorax,
                I've done my medicals few days ago. Total family members (3). Me my wife and 22 months old daughter. My daughter has been sick for the last few days due to stomach infection and got little weak her weight is reduced to 9.5 KG from 11, height is 85CM. Her stomach is OK now but had fever on the day of medical test due to soar throat and growing teeth. She was continuously crying in the clinic. At the end the DMP while examining physically said she is under weight and her Head fontanelle hasn't matured yet. He recommended X-RAY of Chest & both wrist joint. Both X-rays came normal no sign of rickets and lungs are perfectly fine. Is it something serious? Please give your valuable advice..

PS:- Her pediatrician has never complained about anything regarding fontanelle & rest. He just says that she is little under weight and will overcome by the time.
