Hi Qorax,
Pls I need your urgent reply and advice on this issue.I sent u a message sometime ago about 'not able to verify one of my work experience in my country due to the fact

that the owner died last yr'.U advised me to notify the VO immediately.I did notified them and submitted some other document to back my claim.I got a verification of employment

from the present management that took over the office.I already did my medicals in feb 2012 before this issue came up.It has been more than 3mnths that I got medical request.

I decided to send an email to the VO in seattle regarding the decision on my application and PPR as all the other people that we got medical request at the same time already gotten PPR.

I got this reply from the VO in Seattle which makes me worried.

Your file is with the Immigration Program Manager/Consul for review.  We will contact you after the officer reviewed your file. Please do not contact us unless there is a change of address or change in your family composition.  Please do not use the E-CAS on the website, it is not accurate and up-to-date.

Please understand that our office cannot provide you with an update of case status by email on a regular basis, but rest assured that we will contact you for the next stage of the processing of your file.

Will my application be cancelled.I have been living in canada for the past 3.5yrs and recently graduated from a nursing program in college..Will the 'unable to verify employment history in my country be a problem with my application even though I was able to provide them with other document.I have been waiting for more than 2yrs now to get my PR..

Please advise on what to do next..Thank you and your urgent reply would be much appreciated.

Dear Friend,

Don't worry, you should get update or PP request by this end of July, 2012. Until then keep praying.

Note: On 1st July, 2012 new Visa quota/Targets will be released across the globe so until then there may not be any updates from VOs.

Dear forum members,
I think Almost all seniors including our mentor Qorax are stuck somewhere may be without internet or may be they are travelling. Let us hope their safe return.

What is the government doing about backlogs?
A post-2008 backlog of about 160,000 applications remains but the government says wait times are generally six months to a year instead of five years.

Am so sad cos am at the last stage of my application and waiting for PPR..

:oI hope my application will not be cancelled at this stage since I can not provide any more document as asked by the immigration officer.

Hi Guys there is a Sad news  Sad - as Captain Qorax will return to toronto in 4 days we wont be able to plan a get together with him.

really sorry guys

Biju

I've returned back

Hi folks,

Sorry, I couldn't stay longer in Dubai, had to come back due to some fresh work/s cropping-up @ Toronto. Thus, couldn't meet many of u -- had few with Biju though, & was updated with all the happenings around.

Kur & others who got their pps stamped/meds meanwhile -- CONGRATS!

I took Etihad this time (first time) & I must admit their service was splendid. I thus recommend this airline (alongwith KLM & BA) for ur landing/s.
-Long-haul, took 13.5-hrs.* Adh to YYZ (landed early though by 1-hr.),
-Inflight service was nice & the meals selection was wholesome,
-Express Bus Service from Dxb to Adh was smooth, 1.2-hrs.,
-We can check-in @ Chelsea Towers, Dxb itself (baggages taken care of @ Dubai),
-Price: AED-9810 for 1xAdult & 2xKids (one way),
-Had better leg-space (than BA, KLM has similar),
-Inboard entertainment selection is good & widespread,
-Cabin crew was extra courteous & helpful... felt good!
-Icing on the cake: We get 2x23-kgs. Check-in Baggage each!

My inbox is flooded... I might not be able to look @ them, regrets. I'd request those needing an/y urgent/explicit reply to kindly send me fresh PMs.

Qorax
*Remember, this is a long-haul flight & could be unsuitable for the kids. Mine got irksome midway. Ditto for smokers (like me) - in which case KLM via Schipol-Amsterdam is better, & tad cheaper too!

Welcome back Sir,
I've recently done my medical in Pakistan. DMP recommended InDrop D injection [Vitamin D] for my 2 years old daughter. He asked just to take it orally & take another one after 1 month.
I wanna know would this thing be a problem in clearing Medicals or not. I haven't heard about this thing before so kindly shed some light on it.

Best Regards.
