Hi. I am not an expert and wait for seniors' advise. In my personal opinion you can always raise a case specific inquiry to your visa office. Correspondence lost in transit can cause a lot of trouble. So better be safe than sorry. Best of luck. repected qorax: I have been a silent reader for at least one year .I always appreciate you for helping people. I got my CAIPS notes this week .somethings are meaningless to me . please help me .
File reviewed. meets minimum points requirements. approved on selection. pending: • Schedule A / supplementary information forms • Police certificates • Updated proof of residency for relative
PSDEC: 1 SELDEC: 1
view medical assessment for entire family?(y/n) y view / update personal info screens for all family members? (y/n) y intends to proceed within MED validity?(y/n) y
what is the meaning of pending before the list of updates.I am anxious that I missed e-mail to update these documents.I am self represented which is also mentioned in my CAIPS. I did not receive any update till now .I should mention that I applied on 28-05-2009 and get in-processed on 10-02-2012 .my nocs are 2113-1111
Does this means my file has been approved or maybe I will have interview in future. can i ask them for any update? thanks in advance.

hi there,
i would just like to ask regarding the COMMON LAW application.
my fiancé and I are working here in Dubai and we want to apply as immigrant in Canada.
we need to have affidavit of cohabitation, consent and witness.
my question is: is it possible to ask fr Affidavit (above mentioned) here in the Philippine consulate in Dubai? bec as far as I know, in UAE law common law is not acceptable.
But, I have another option, which is to have notarize the papers in our home country. However, I have the fear that the Canadian embassy will not accept or approve because we are currently living in in Dubai and not in the Phil.
or you know any case same w/ me??
please.please help!! any advice please!
thanks

Hi folks,
I'm looking for information on the 'International Experience Canada' program. I applied in March from Ireland and got confirmation of same within a month. A month later I was asked to pay a fee and last week I was told I'd know in 6 weeks if I'd be accepted or not.
I'm very worried about whether or not there will be visas available or not in 6 weeks time as the balance at the moment is just 461. They often issue 100 in a day.
I wonder have they 'reserved' a visa for me assuming I'll pass the background check stage or do they go through this process in the hope that there will be a visa there for me when I pass the process?
It is so hard to find out any information on this as they don't reply to emails and don't take calls. If anyone can help me, I'd be so grateful to hear from you,
thank you.

Dear Qorax and seniors,
Thanks for your voluntary service, I really appreciate your kind and help. One of nieces last week got an email from Nairobi CHC. the email was as follow:
Good afternoon,. Kindly note that your application is on hold indefinitely. You will be notified of the next step(s) or decision once the hold is lifted. However, we cannot provide you with an exact time frame for this process. Regards, Is that leading to rejection or security delay? Please translate.

Hi Qorax, Pls I need your urgent reply and advice on this issue.I sent u a message sometime ago about 'not able to verify one of my work experience in my country due to the fact that the owner died last yr'.U advised me to notify the VO immediately.I did notified them and submitted some other document to back my claim.I got a verification of employment from the present management that took over the office.I already did my medicals in feb 2012 before this issue came up.It has been more than 3mnths that I got medical request. I decided to send an email to the VO in seattle regarding the decision on my application and PPR as all the other people that we got medical request at the same time already gotten PPR. I got this reply from the VO in Seattle which makes me worried. Your file is with the Immigration Program Manager/Consul for review. We will contact you after the officer reviewed your file. Please do not contact us unless there is a change of address or change in your family composition. Please do not use the E-CAS on the website, it is not accurate and up-to-date.
Please understand that our office cannot provide you with an update of case status by email on a regular basis, but rest assured that we will contact you for the next stage of the processing of your file. Immigration Section Canadian Consulate General, Seattle 1501 - 4th Avenue, Suite 600 Seattle, WA 98101-4328 Fax: (206) 441-7838 E-mail: Seattle-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca Web site: http://www.seattle.gc.ca Please include the applicant's name, date of birth, and file number in all correspondence with this office. Will my application be cancelled.I have been living in canada for the past 3.5yrs and recently graduated from a nursing program in college..Will the 'unable to verify employment history in my country be a problem with my application even though I was able to provide them with other document.I have been waiting for more than 2yrs now to get my PR.. Please advise on what to do next..Thank you and your urgent reply would be much appreciated.
