Dear captain qorax

Pls a situation where ur passport is missen or damaged and ur Mr is out what can one do

Secondly what if u the name on your passport is different from the name on your medical form what can one do that is the name on the passport is my madien name while the name on the medical forms is the marital name would u suggest a new passport is obtained.

Lastly is the background n security check for both couples or the principal applicant.

Hi,

Pls visit ur DMP, I sincerely believe u'd be fine. If ur current pps r under a different "surname" (I think ur first name is yet the same) - there shouldn't be a prob. However, if both (first & last) names r different then u'd need another doc to prove ur ID, in conjunction with ur pps.

Dear Qorax:
This is a very tricky question for you lets see how you answer it, reading you and analyzing applicants on this forum means that after getting into in-process with date means that the applicant had passed the PSDEC AND SELDEC but I have seen a couple of cases in this forum that they got DM after a couple months of getting into process with dates instead of getting MR or additional documents request.

I am a single mom of three children, they are American and I am Australian.Their father left us in his home country of Dominican Republic. We were all going to go to Canada. He got a two year work visa, but he went one month ahead of us,met a Canadian girl and then he left us,after meeting this young girl.I now see that the kids really need both parents,I cant do this on my own any more!We need to migrate to Canada,he needs to co parent!I have no special skills.I did have my own horse ranch in the Dominican Rep.,but I built it from nothing, and again,I have no special training,or education.I only have a GED.So is there anything you can sugest, from my understanding,I need a visa to work,or a permit?

Hi,

Firstly, relax! U r good to go... Start packing!

Yes, sometimes the VO might want to w/draw a previously issued PRV+COPR when when there's some administrative lacunae involved in it's issuance; and detected subsequently.

Cases where the PRV+COPR might be required to be reMade:
-Error in addition of dependents (remember, everyone's PRVs in the family need to be linked),
-Pps unrecognized by Canada (eg. Somalia) - needing PRVs stamped on a SJTD*,
-Mismatch in the PRVs/COPR details between the family members,
-Dest. Code improperly logged,
-IMMCAT erroneously recorded,
-Different signatories between the forms/indivs.,
-Etc.

Horrifying - yes for the applicant, but it's not on our accord & we have nothing to worry about. Though rare, but such incidences do occur. I'm aware of one such within my close folks.

U r likely to have them returned in a week or two.

Good luck.

Uh, I hope I pass ur test... Means a lot!

"In process" would mean PSDEC yes, but SELDEC - no. The IO, or the Program Manager, or anyone for that matter, can always have a relook at our file and opine/assess/decide otherwise.

Hi,

2004 & yet waiting? There sure is something wrong in ur file. Most probably ur b/g checks r getting difficult for ur IO, there could be many open ends to plug. Also, possibly some aspects of it has been h/over to some external agency and they r yet to respond.

It'd be pretty difficult to opine something objectively w/out knowing all the details of ur case. We, in the forums, might not be the right person to comment. U could send sporadic queries to ur IO and also think of taking professional help.

All the best.

Dear ma'am,

We sure understand ur situation, but unfortunately can only sympathize here, on the forums. It'd be quite difficult for anyone to suggest/assist anything w/out going thru ur complete case in details. I'd advice u to take professional help.

Good luck.
