Hello! Goodvday... Am new here- just want to ask
If you already took ielts but its already expired; so i need to take again- would it be possible that my grades will be lower than before? Would there be a bias for 2nd re-takers? Or there is a chance my grade will be improve?

1. If u have already submitted the IELTS results to ur VO - u needn't bother with its expiration [while it's with them].
2. If u haven't [sent] - ur IELTS results should be 'valid' while submitting.

Qorax, thanks for reply but im afraid that is not the question.... The question is i had took the ielts before and im retaking again as its expired... Can my grade decrease frim the previous score? Im afraid if my ielts score this time round would be lower than before... Thanks!

may i ask again, since you area ex-military, in the letter of cem below: what is the document they are referrin? are the STATEMENT OF SERVICE (summary of appointment, promotion, call to active duty, continuation of tour of active duty with authority)? the SPECIAL ORDERS of unit assignment? and any orders. are we going to send it also? or only the DETAILS OF MILITARY SERVICE FORM, just fill-up and send. no accompanying statement of orders or orders for unit assignment?

We r required to only respond to the queries [reply to those 12-15 questions]. We r not required to submit any enclosures [mil.docs] unless they r "declassified".

The e.g. of declassified papers r "Unit Part-II Orders", LPC [Last Pay Certificate], UNPKF Posting Orders [if applicable], DMC [Discharge Medical Cert.], DFSPL letters [Discharge From Service Pending Leave], Trg. Certificates [except combat orders], ERE Call Letters [Extra Regimental Employment], ACA Notes [Aid to Civil Authorities] etc. There could be others based on ur national military regulations, which I'm not party to info.

Bottomline: Only non-combat documents can be submitted, as an when/if they r applicable to ur response to any of those questions. If not - then do not submit sporadic mil.docs.

U can take as many IELTS exams as u deem fit... they do not matter or effect, in any way, towards ur PR processing. But, whether ur next IELTS result will be better, or otherwise, to ur previously held [even if it has expired] result - depends on u. Yes, it may go down too. But, the bottomline is that when u submit that result - it should be a valid one, not expired one.

Below is my post from yesterday. I know you are sick'n tired of silly 'asking for consolation' posts, but here I go again. I am re-posting it. Also, if my RPRF has been encashed, does it mean I am almost through and should expect PPR? Btw, my medicals were received at London VO on 16th March 2012.


I sent an email on Tuesday to London CHC asking them whether my medicals have been received, since my tracking tells me they were received there on 16/03/2012. My e-cas, however, was not showing the line 'Medical results have been received'.
Today i got this reply:

Thank you for the information.
 
It appears as though your medicals have now been received.

I have copy/pasted it here exactly as it is. A bit strange, no? I mean grammatically. Also, the whole address etc. that can usually be seen at the bottom of an email reply is not there.

Hi,

Yes, if that's a copy-paste one, it does look strange... usually they r pretty good at formatting their letters/emails. But the moot point here is that:

1. U have just taken ur meds [in Mar-12]. So, give them some time to work on it... usually 3-5 months.
2. No, RPRF encashment doesn't mean anything. It's just a procedure which their fin.cell does [ur draft was sent to them imdtly by ur IO].

Here is my education & work experience so that you can provide me the right advice.
I have done my SSC in March 1991 (full time), HSC (Science) in MArch 1993
After that I was selected  for Apprenticeship from  siemens training centre ( 3 years  full time Apprenticeship) from August 1993 to August 1996.
After Completing Apprenticeship i joined Neha Electronics for Repairs, MAintenance & Installation of Drives & PLC's (both inhouse & onsite) from March 1997 to February 1999.
After that i joined Osram limited in Sonepat in maintenance department from february 1999 to October 2000.
Again i joined Neha electronics & worked from November 2000 to March 2005.
I started doing my part time diploma (4 Years due to part time) in 2003 . I got direct admission in 2nd year as i have done 12 th science & Apprenticeship.Completed the diploma in 2006.
I worked Aplab Limited as service engineer in UPS industry from 2005 to 2008.
In 2008  i worked as a software tester for 5 months ( was not interested much).
In 2008 i joined Emerson network power as quality engineer (Field related issues).
After working there for around 6 months i joined  Siemens limited in December 2008 wher i am still working in Maintenance department as a senior executive.Where all the works of NOC7242 are carried out by us also in Neha electronics & Osram we used to carry out .
This is all my education history & work experience brief kindly guide how many points i would get for educational credentials & work experience.Also how much i have to score in IELTS to qualify for PR visa.

Bro,

Pls tell me what's ur highest 'Academic' qualification. I could then opine something.

As reg. ur apprenticeship... if that Siemens' training lead u to obtain a Diploma [cert.] from them - then yes, it'd be accepted as a qualification. Else, I'm afraid, it'd not be.

hi there QORAX/ anyone,


i have some concerns regarding the experience requirement in migrating to Canada.
Im working here in Dubai as a nurse. I had an employer n Abu dhabi last year and worked there for 7months (dec '10 - july 11), during the span of time i don't have the employment visa of the company, but still i continued to work with the VISIT visa. I exited the country twice just to renew my 2 months visit visa, then back to work. I' ve worked there because of the good compensation they offered me but, unfortunately the company wasn't able to give me an employment visa. So i decided to look for another employer. Good thing, I found one!
 
So my concern is: I am planning to include this in my resume to be able to  reach the 67 points. I need to complete a 4yr experience for single applicant. If my employer will give me some proof that I worked in there company, will it cause any problems in the future for the assessment???

Hi,

Visa or otherwise, if that employer gives u [1]Employment Letter & [2]Reference/Experience Letter - then it'd be counted against ur overall experience. Else - IMHO, No.

I have also done 4 years part time (18 hours weekly) diploma in Industrial electronics.
Kindly advice

Pls read below, from section 12.2 of OP6:
Credential and number of years of education................................Points
Three year post-secondary educational credential, other.....................22
than a university educational credentiaequivalent studies

Now, if that apprentice-training of Siemens lead u into a Govt. recognized Diploma [awarded thru any of the professional colleges of ur country] - then Yes, it'd be taken as a edn credential by the CIC. Else, if it's ust a cert. from Seimens [though stamped by some sort of Govt. body] - then No, it's not a qualification [for CIC purposes] I'm afraid.

Ps.: BTW, I'm not the right guy to advice u on that, b'coz I'm not aware of ur country's ednl assessment system. But, what I opined is based on my understanding of the global edn models. Thus, u may look for professional help on the subject.

Whether i am eligible for it or for other NOC

I am B.E in Food Technology from INDIA

3.5 years experience as "Research and Development Officer" in Edible vegetable oil Industry in India
7 months experience as "Quality Assurance Officer" in Biscuit manufacturing Industry in India

I want to apply after 1 july if 2121 will be in list

As professionally i am called " Food Technologist"

But as experience letter , i am R & D Officer and Quality assurance Officer.

So whether i can apply as per under tiltles of 2121
