Dear Qorax or seniors,

I've applied at 10th April 2011 as FSW category 2, right now I'm in Canada on Work Permit and my Visa Office is Buffalo, I got my first POR at 26th May 2011 then in July 28 I got Finger tips scan for RCMP which I did and sent at 30th July after that I didn't get any response, I know many people got their visa even they are landed and got their PR cards Sad

Could anyone share the experience the same or suggest about this visa office, should I send CSE or go for local MP to check the status?
Desperately waiting for Medical request... My ECAS always show RBVO since then need some sincere suggestions or advises?

Thanks,
Nadeem

Hi,

In another few months u should be hearing from them. Ur case isn't inordinately delayed yet. However, if u do not hear anything in a month or two u may like to retrieve ur GCMS notes.

All the best.

A.A I have a query regarding new born pictures, that how to take pictures of a new born as per cic demand? And how to make DD of 150cad?
Regards

Hi,

This is how I did (and it worked)... While my son was awake, we placed him on the bed - back against the pillow, and while my wife held him by the shoulders I clicked him. He naturally looked at the flash and that gave us a perfect frontal shot. Whereafter, I sized the image on the laptop and took the printouts.

For the draft, it'd be the same way u obtained urs in the first place I guess.

Regards.

Didn't u receive ur PER yet? Usually that comes by 2-4 months. Give it another a month or so & then contact CIO-NS with ur antecedents.

IMHO it'd not be accepted. Besides, how do u propose to get a draft payable @ Canada for any currency other than CAD or USD?

Not everybody... But in a couple of months most do get it, viz. The 2012 applicants. However, it has been noticed that 2011 applicants had a delay of few more months. Usually, if one doesn't receive it in 3-4 months - there should be a cause of concern.

Dear Qorax,
I sent an email on Tuesday to London CHC asking them whether my medicals have been received, since my tracking tells me they were received there on 16/03/2012. My e-cas, however, was not showing the line 'Medical results have been received'.
Today i got this reply:

Thank you for the information.

It appears as though your medicals have now been received.

Sincerely,

Canadian High Commission

I have copy/pasted it here exactly as it is. A bit strange, no? I mean grammatically. Also, the whole address etc. that can usually be seen at the bottom of an email reply is not there.
What do you think, Qorax?
