Dear Qorax,

Thanks for the reply earlier. I was thinking of landing with the same documents as I believe its a non - issue.

As a precaution I asked my agent too and this is what they said "Marital status is an important factor and you could be denied at the port of entry better to be safe than sorry and send back your passports and landing papers for correction."

Now I'm confused and extremely concerned.

Having being fortunate in getting our passports back so soon, I believe this would send the guys at CHC ND in a tail spin, and cause immense delays.

What would the consequence be, if any, of landing with the current set of papers?

Once again appreciate your response.

Thanks,
Rahul.

Dear Qorax,

Sorry to disturb again but One more thing to ask in relation to question 4

U said tht NOC1111 is no more in the MI list of 29, thus no quota, nothing, So, my application will not be accepted because of tht???

wht can be don in such situation?

No, nothing as such...
Our apps get locked-in the moment it reaches the CIC, and is considered under the prevailing terms & conditions of that time.

If u send the COPR for correction [nice thing to do] - look @ 3-4 months of delay in receiving them back.

If u don't [for 'only' that thing] - it's not a big deal... your case file has all the family details anyway... and all the dependents of the PA r linked to your profile... one whole lot of info is available on their system... Yes thus, it's a non-issue. Even if the BSO notices it [which is unlikely] - u may feign ignorance.

But, once again, Yes - it's a nice thing to send them back for correction!

dear master, what can you say about this post..can you give me time on when will the pre june applicants be processed? thanks

Changes to immigration law in 2008 allow Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to set, through Ministerial Instructions (MI), the number and type of applications considered for processing each year, and the order in which these applications will be processed.

Under the first set of instructions (MI-1) CIC used this new authority under immigration law to control the type of applications received, but not the number. The number of applications received exceed the ability to process them in a timely way. CIC introduced caps on June 26, 2010 on the FSW program as part of the second MI. CIC has limited the intake of new FSW applications to better match the number CIC can actually process within the annual levels plan tabled in Parliament. FSW applications under the second MI are processed on a priority basis.

CIC has received enough FSW applications since February 27, 2008 to reach immigration levels for the next two years. Unfortunately, it will take longer to process those submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected. This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the program in 2011. Therefore, few applications received before February 27, 2008 (processed in the order they are received) are expected to be processed this year or next.

CIC's goal is to make the immigration system more responsive to labour market needs. By giving priority to FSW applications received on or after June 26, 2010, CIC is responding to the most urgent labour market needs first. The length of time it takes to finalize an application under this program varies from one visa office to another since visa offices face different challenges. CIC continues to work towards global service standards and the use of departmental standard forms to minimize such regional variations as much as possible.

We hope that you will find this information satisfactory in responding to your questions and concerns.

Sincerely,

Federal Skilled Worker Unit

Hi all,

I hav some doubts regarding filling education section.

1. Do i have to give details from standard 1st to grad. or only 10th, 12th and grad?

2. Where in the form they hav mentioned to give no. of years in one institute(eg: school) do i hav to write from stndrd 1 or only one year of 10th?

3. Im filling form with hand. To describe my job duties(schedule 3 form) I hav to insert an extra sheet(blank). Can I type or print duties on tht sheet
    or should write with hand?

Dear qorax,

Sorry to bother you repeatedly Sad !!! I have few concern regarding POF which made me really worried. If you could please answer at your convenience, it would be a great help for me!!!

At the time of submitting documents to Singapore office, I sent the POF which was convertible into a certain amount of CAD at a certain exchange rate. At that time, it was sufficient to meet the requirement. But during the last 5/6 months, the exchange rate between CAD/BDT (Bangladeshi Currency) varied/fluctuated widely (all times ever in the history). At a current exchange rate, this high exchange loss (for BDT) has reduced my funds (converted into CAD) surely.

Since I sent the required fund (CAD) at a marginal level, it is surely lower than the required level, at this moment. In this circumstances, should I send a new POF with required level of funds in the current exchange rate? If Visa Officer found this POF lower than the requirement (at current exchange rate), can s/he reject my file without asking me for depositing additinal funds?

FYI only, 1 CAD = 68 BDT (Sep/Oct 2010), 1 CAD = 80 BDT (May 2011)

Looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks and regards,

Having applied for quite some time since [4/2010] your file assessment has already gone thru & accepted... so, relax. As u near your meds, your VO will definitely ask u again an updated POF [quite sure, given the 'marginal' funds u declared earlier] - then provide them the appropriate docs.

BTW, hereon maintain enough funds @ your bank a/cs.

Thanks again Sir! Yes, I can relax now on your assurance......but one last concern.....!!!

Before sending documents to the Singapore office, I had deposited the required amounts into a Fixed Deposit for 6 months. When that Fixed Deposit was matured after 6 months, I en-cashed that Fixed Deposit and took it back into my regular savings account. Since it has a huge cost to leave the entire amount idle in a savings account, again I have transferred the entire amount into a fresh new Fixed Deposit and my plan is to continue this Fixed Deposit until the completion of the process. Moreover, I have NO plan to keep any significant amount into my savings account rather investing the amount into new Fixed Deposits.

In this circumstance, at the end of each month, my savings account's statement will show a significant inflow (when the salary entered) and soon-after a decline once I'll keep transferring the amount into new FDRs.

I've heard from many people and also from you that VO will ask my bank statement (along with other POF) for 1 year. My plan is to send the Fixed Deposit statements (with significant amount) as well as my savings account's statement (should be very small).

Do you see any problem there (since my savings account will contain a very minimum balance simultaneously the FDR account will be healthy)?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanking,

No issues there...
During the 2nd POF [updated] request - u can demonstrate POFs thru multiple saving & investment products, even if the pattern changed from your apps filing.
