Dear All

Appreciate if someone could give us an advise.

We applied as a Common Law Partner last 2007 and we are able to attend an interview in Canadian Embassy in UAE in 2011. Up to date no reply from CIC. Last month our status online is decision made but as of today i cannot view our file number anymore. In your opinion do you think our  case is denied ? 

We approach our consultant but he refuse to give  any feedback and he told us that we need pay some money so that he can check . I think he just want to cheat us. I understand also if our case is denied CIC should send us a letter the reason for denial thru our Consultant. but my Consultant refuse to give any information about the real status of our application.

Is it possible to withdraw our consultant on this final stage of our application ?

Is it possible to send a letter to our VO mentioning our problem with our Consultant ? do you think it is acceptable or we need to withdraw our consultant first before sending letter.

1. Please can to tell me is this mean my security checks are over?
2.They sent me Medical on 16/04/2011, is that's mean after complete my security checks they issue me new medical?
3. They asked me to send Police clearance Certificates, I already sent them my UK police clearance Certificate in Feb, last year. I want to know do I need to send them UK PCC again (I never visited to UK, after I received PCC from Uk?.  Can I send them only PCC from India only or do I need to send PCC from Uk as well?
4. If I don't need to send UK PCC then do I need to send them covering letter explaining  why I am not sending UK PCC?
5. I don't understand these lines in CAIPS. They says:-
(1. File request for rfv
2. File requested FM Registry for RFV check)

Bonjour to Qorax sir and all senior members....

I just had a sneaky doubt ... The cic website says

1. Once the PR visa holder applicant lands Canada the mail address for receiving the PR card should be given  @  port of entry... Is it true?

2. If question 1 is true than will the PR card be recieved say in a month or so at the given address?

3. I have also heard that since there are several backlogs the PR card for necomers is delayed as the earlier residnts are still on the queue..is it true, if yes how far?

 4. If question 2 is true then after getting the card can we travel outside canada immediately and re- entry is to how soon?

Sorry for being tricky here..i found this conveinient for putting my questions thru..

How are you doing ?

I applied for PR under Federal Skilled Worker in Feb 2011 through arranged employment in Ontario. And the current status is "received by visa office" since Apr, 2011.
I got married after applying for PR and my wife is a canadian citizen.

I have three options for my PR application, that i needed help choose:
1. Wait for the current PR through my above mentioned Federal Skilled worker application.
2. Apply for PR through my wife as a spousal application.
3. I have been working in canada since feb 2010. So I could apply in CEC.

Which of the three options would be prudent and fast ?

Pls advise.

good day sir quorax, i am from the philippines and my question is that, can i bring a bank draft in philippine currency (peso) when i do my landing in canada, and will the officer in the point of entry accept it?tnx so much.i am under fsw category.this isthe currency i showed in my application.

We just want to know the current status of our application

 Download Cancel the appointment of representative form fill it up and send it with explanation letter about your situation.

Fax it, post it and email the scan copy through case specific inquiry.. u will be able to attach the scan copy.

I did the same, other side be in touch with ur agent and ask him to forward any corresponding from VO

this is my point of view... please take seniors advice.
