Hi, I am looking for details if anyone has explained about proving your work experience.

(1) In addition to original & up to date experience letter from employer, which states only duration and last title held, what would be needed?

(a) Could we add a reference letter from past supervisor, stating job details, but it would be on plain paper signed by the ex-supervisor & his biz card attached?

(b) Or Reference letter from a colleague, who still works in same organisation, on company's letter head, signed & sealed?

(c) Or few office internal emails (to your peers, colleagues, clients, vendors, counter parts) stating your day to day job description, such as team management, financials, policies handling, project management etc. would be enough?

(2) Also, NOC 0213 is further sub classified in 0013?? For example, if some one is heading (as Senior Manager) an IT division of a bank (say for one year), would claim NOC  0213 even though it is classified under 0013?

Thanks in advance if any senior or Qoarx could answer this.

Hi,

In a FSW scenario (not FC) an interview after meds is likely to be a security one. This could occur due to:
-Excessive travel details;
-Travel to certain parts of the world, even if it was once;
-A red-flag on database checks;
-The above could be for any one of the dependents;
-Inconsistency in certain explanations/details offered by the applicant, if any;
-Inter-religious/inter-country marriages;
-Ex-servicemen applicants;
Etc.

Usually, the foregoing will be mentioned in the interview letter. And an indication as to what the IO is concerned about would be available. As well as docs, if any, that needs to be brought on the appointed day.

Hi Qorax,

I have applied for FSW-1 in year of Oct-2010.That time i had fulltime one year experience,and currently i am working with the same company with the same job title.Now i am planning to move India for 6 months for family emergency.

Do i have to continue my job with the same field? either USA or in India? or that's fine.

Is there any bad impression on my PR file?

Thanks for your help.

Minister Kenney's response to lawsuits:

"I think we're already being sued by people for not processing their applications quickly enough. So, quite frankly, dealing with this [backlog] problem decisively I think will reduce any legal risk that may be posed to the government," said Mr. Kenney, when asked about the potential for lawsuits."
