I don't think most will make it in 1-yr anymore. Things r in transition with CIC, thus delays should be expected.

Hi Qorax,

Could you please help.

I completed my medicals on 21.02.2012 and sent the PCCs and Driver's History Certs to VO on 01.03.2012 which were delivered the next day.

Our Meds go to Singapore for Interpretation and are then sent to the VO.

What, in your opinion, is going on now?

Any estimate on when the ECAS will state Meds Received and issue of PPR ?

Are there any chances for an Interview ?

Your response will be much appreciated

Sir Qorax, my medical was done on 3rd April,2012. Dmp asked for additional sputum culture test as i had tb and got treated 3 years back. He says this will foster my processing. He will send all my reports together after 8 weeks since my additional test done. But thus, my 60 days' deadline will expire. What should  I do now? Please give ur kind opinion.

today i received a letter stating refusal to my application,all the reasons
1. Duties donot match my NOC
2.I could not produce the proof for arranaged employment.
3.DONOT have one year work experience
         
First of all all my duties were according to NOC.Secondly i never mentioned of arranged employment in my application.In last i have relevant experience of more than 5 years in my field.Furthermore i didnot receive back my experience certificates and transcripts of my degrees.Need expert opinion of what to do now.looking forward for sincere advice.thanks

Meds r submitted to the Regional MO by our DMPs. Once the meds r 'seconded' by Ottawa - we get the "MR" in our e-CAS. It usually takes 3-5 months since meds to receive the PPR.

Usually med furtherance letter/request come separately from the CIC, our DMPs do not take the initiative themselves. They do inform it in their report though. Thus, I think ur DMP will send an interim report to the RMO soon... and submit their final findings after those 2-3 months of culture tests.

Hi,

U have 30 days to Appeal, to ur IO. For which, u should be able to submit (as many) proofs and thru a suave plea letter.

U have 60 days to apply for a Judicial Review. This needs to be moved in a Canadian court... thru a Lawyer... and might cost u a bomb.

Besides, neither has a guarantee... but try - why not (mainly the Appeal way)?

Hi Qorax Master,

I have one doubt. Please help in clarifying the same at the earliest.

We have done a Fixed Deposit in a Govt. bank towards POF and sent the receipts along with the bank's letter, duly signed and stamped by the branch manager, along with the full documentation, in the month of Oct'10 (full documentation submission).

That is was getting delayed a lot, and since we were moving back to our home town, we had taken out all those FDs in the month of August'11 and invested in purchase of a land (almost 10 months after the deposit).

Now that the files started moving and the status changed to IN Process in Feb'12, do we need to maintain the funds now? Do we need deposit the money again and show the new POF at this point or not required? IF required, is it ok to deposit when asked for or do we need to do it now? Will they question about the absence of POF as provided earlier? Will they accept if we suddenly do an FD for such a huge amount at a time, when required?

Appreciate your inputs!!!

The IOs invariably ask for fresh POF during or around the meds. And when they do so, they usually want 6-months' bank statements. Moreover, most VOs do not accept "property valuation" as POF. Thus, u may want to check with ur VO reg. instructions on the same... and if it's not accepted - u may want to maintain those funds in a bank a/c WIE.

How do we check with the VO on this? Can you send a specific enquiry on this issue? Ours is NDVO. IF we send a specific enquiry on this issue would they respond?

1. For submitting a fresh application u do not need to w/draw the current on
2. This yr (2012) is the deciding yr for 2010 applications.
