DEAR QUORAX IO REVIEW FILE ON THAT DAY WHEN WE RECEIVE MEDICAL LINE IN CAS ( MEDICAL RESULTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED) OR ITS JUST DOCTOR GIVE CLEAREANCE AND COMPUTER OPERATOR UPDATE THAT. I MEAN MEDICAL LINE UPDATED IN CAS ON 10TH FEB SO IO HAS REVIEW THE FILE ON 10TH OR BEFORE THAT SO IT WAS UPDATED OR ITS JUST DOCTOR CLEARANCE AND COMPUTER OPERATOR DO THAT. PLS

here is my Application status but i am unable to receive any letter from VO.
what could be the reason and how much time it usually take to get such letter ?

We received your application for permanent residence on April xx, 2010.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July xx, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
 
We transferred your application to the London England office on July xx, 2010. The London England office may contact you.
 
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 13, 2012.

Thanks for your reply Captain. Its extremely disappointing to know that it might be late 2012 or early 2013 just to get an MR. Looks like the entire process of getting a visa for Pre-June NDVO candidates may stretch upto end of 2013

That's ur "med clearance" from PMB-Ottawa. It's ur final log on meds from anywhere/everywhere in CIC.

2010 cases had a 2-yrs wait queue b4 commencement of processing... Ur file has now come out of it... It'd take a while hereon. Pls have patience.

me and my wife did our medicals on 19th of march.(including xrays)...we are expecting baby by july end...what do u think that visa officer will hold our PPR UNTIL BIRTH of baby? or our case will be processed as normal?Huh

when we should expect our passport request???

Hi,

- It's likely to be processed as per usual speed/procedures.
- It could take 3-5 months to get ur PPR (from meds date) hence u might not be able to land b4 delivery.
- In such a case u'd need to add the baby into ur file, get his/her meds & have fresh PPR/visas for all.
- IMHO doing the meds at this stage might not prove to be of much use.

The procedure is: If u have the visa & then have a delivery, u'll have to "add" the baby into ur case file, surrender the visas and get "fresh ones" for the entire family. Our PRVs+COPRs r interlinked to each other in the family.
