What is the procedure to cancel my consultant who is a representative of my immigration case? how long the procedure will take? since my consultant not answering me or not showing any interest I want to cancel them . Kindly let me know the details.

Just fill up this form:

and send them. You can write a cover letter also. Tick the Cancelling.........

You must notify CIC immediately if you change your consultant. To notify CIC, complete a new Use of a Representative (IMM 5476) form and send it to the office processing your file. You can change your consultant at any time. You may also decide to deal directly with the visa office or the in-Canada immigration office yourself.

Hai Seniors,

Some in the blog shared that CIC will not process the application receive in the year 2011 and 2012 once they cleared the backlogs in between 2008-2010.

If is correct

There is no official declaration/ notification to prove this statement so far

Dear QORAX

What is this and why now a  days some pre June 2010 Applicants are getting this type of letter.

My ecas status has been changed on 13-Mar-2012 to in-process with this line "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 13, 2012". Today April 4, 2012 I have received call from TCS to collect my parcel, the parcel contains "My original documents + Immigration Officer Letter that my application is considered to be processed for further action within coming 6 to 12 months so do not initiate any status update request till that time. I dont know how to attach scanned image otherwise I could have been attached this.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a letter from CHC London stating that a visa officer has reviewed my file and that I have been found eligible for further processing. The letter also further states that they would be communicating further steps within the next 6-12 months. However, no MR request  !!

Has anybody in this forum received a similar letter ? BTW, my ecas has been showing in process since Jul-10. I am a pre-june 2010 applicant.

This is letter shows that processing time started from the processing date mentioned in e-case status.

keep in mind processing time of 12 months starts after completion of review stage and start of processing stage of application.

as our applications were not in processing since we applied and proof of it is refusals of applications on the bases of job duties mismatch.

As processing fee is only return at first stage in case of rejection before processing so it shows our processing time of 12 months started from processing date mentioned in e-case status.

now some applicants will get visa ( final stage) with in 12 months may be in 8 months, 9 months or in 12 months.

Ur processing is in the right direction. U have cleared the eligibility & points calc stages. Ur next BFD is on 15th May 2012. Those highlighted initials mean nothing to u.

Those r just status update notifications - and asking the applicant to keep their correspondences to the min. The reason, most probably, being the VOs r pretty overwhelmed reg. the backlogs and the newer policy of working out a via media.

in my CAIPS PSDEC =1 and SELDEC=0 and i'm sep 2004 applicant....also in my  CAIPS  mentioned that the paper file sent to PPS FILE BF'D to PCL on 23/02/2012.....what does it mean

although they have awarded me 70 points as mentioned in CAIPS
