Hello All

I am in the same boat as seeker2.  August 2004 case.  Case shifted to London in April 2011.  Medicals done in September 2011.  Now almost 7 months since medical have been done.
send a case specific inquiry to London visa office on March 15, 2012.  No answer yet.
I am pretty sure I will get standard reply, waiting for a officer to look at my file.
I am now slowly loosing hope.  Looks more like going towards a re-medical.
I hear people talk about fast track and complaining that its been 12 months and there case is not yet finalized etc etc.
What about people like myself...its been 92 months and we are not even close to case being finalized.

Can anyone suggest any thing I can do to speed up the process or what should i do next?

Thanks

That's very unfortunate... one thing was - if only u guys had aplied afresh during then 'simplified to fast track system' transition, around 2008/2008. However, that's a no goner now.

Presently the only thing that u can do is to keep sending periodic mails to ur IO and pray. Meanwhile u guys could also retrieve ur CAIPS/GCMS notes & see what/where is wrong.

Good luck,
Qorax

Dear Qorax,

Yesterday by god's grace we received our passports stamped with the Canadian PR. Thanks for your guidance.

I have a few queries hope you address them:

1) Once our formalities are done can I send back my son ( he is 6 months old) to India and call him after 2/3 years? Does he need to be physically present  in Canada for the stipulated period to get Citizenship?

2) Does the Principal Applicant need to work for all the stipulated period of time to procure citizenship or can he/she study in Canada?

3) Can the Principal Applicant undertake any job or is it mandatory to work only in the mentioned NOC?

Dear Quorax,

I'm new with this forum.I just want asked if how long it will take to process of permanent residence apply here in the Phil. My husband is a caregiver in Canada and he applied his permanent residence last July 2010 and he received his open permit last Nov 2011 according to the letter we should received our medical request fron the canadian embassy here in the Phil after 3 months. My kids and I had already submit our application last March 2011 and they request an additional document of my baptismal certicate last July 2011.I also had a follow up thru mail status of our application but until now I have not received any reply.According to Ecas they received our application last March 2011.That's the only info we got.

How long it will take this to process? Our Kids is longing for their father.Need to know what to do next?

Hope to hear from you.

By the way my husband is at Ontario Canada.

Thank you.

Dear Qorex

I am from Bangladesh. My NOC is 4152. I applied on 27th of January-2011, Received mail that means " Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive final determination of eligibility for processing on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on June 26, 2010. '' Your application will be forwarded to the visa office for further processing.

End of the April-2011 received acknowledgement letter from SGVO. My ecase shows RBVO from first week of May-2011. Long time waiting for further response from VO. I am feeling too much tensed also. Is it in track? Can you guess when will get final decision about my application? Waiting reply from you.

Dear Qarax,

Well i m so much greatful for ur prompt and kind reply earlier. I wanna have ur kind opinion again in a matter..........

When i went to DMP for the medical of me n my family, everything goes smooth but when i was leaving the office of DMP. He said that the passport of me n my spouse looks great but my kids passports..........There is error that Passport office puts their given name in the box of surname so he said that at the PPR level.it might not be ok with ya so ya better have them corrected before the ppr stage.........

what is ur valued opinion?Qarax.......

Kind regards,

Rehan

Dear Silveshani

thanks for your reply .can you tell me 2 weeks time starts from 13th March or the time they changes my status on 20th March ?

Two weeks is normal time, but you may get some delay  in delivery, they send letter immediately when they start procession on your application.
last but not least you will have 90 Days time to proceed from the date on your letter.

"In my Case they started processing on 10 March, and I received my letter on 24 March".  Also see my previous posts I didn't receive MR, I received only updated documents request.

thx & good luck
