Hi,

I have part time exp in a small business of leather as a person with hr supervision, records handling and supervising clerical staff.. I also used to analyse as to what is the status of company and then bring about a plan and execute it with my boss for better business. Do i come under category 1122? What if my title is not exectly the same as given in 1122 but my job description are almost same?

i Got married in September 2010 and inform CHC and ask for further documentation to add my spouse

but no reply received

after 2 months i again send a letter along my marriage certificate and ask again about documentation but again no reply

i contact third time by sending email to ask further documentation to add my spouse and then got reply in December last week 2011 with list of documents to add my spouse, it was a general reply without and date deadline for submition of documents i took almost 30 days to gather documents and send all listed documents on 26-Jan-2012 following is the list of documents i sumbitted

•   Processing fee for my spouse
•   Original birth certificate of my spouse
•   Copy of my spouse`s valid passport
•   6 Recent photographs of my spouse according to the specifications
•   Original “No” criminal activity certificate for my spouse
•   Original Computerized Marriage Certificate
•   Background Declaration form for my spouse
•   Additional family information form for my spouse
•   Copy of Computerized National Identity Card with Original Certified English Translation
•   Certified Copy of Secondary School Certificate for my spouse
•   Certified Copy of Intermediate Degree for my spouse
•   Certified Copy of Graduation Degree for my spouse
•   Original Transcript of Graduation Degree for my spouse
•   Original Transcript of M.A Economics for my spouse


in addition to demanded documents i also sumbitted some additional documents which are expired in my case and mostly demanded by CHC at the time of Medical Request following is the list

•   Updated IMM 0008 Generic form for myself
•   Updated IMM 5406 Additional Family information form for myself
•   Updated IMM 5562 Travel History form
•   Updated Original “No” criminal activity certificate for myself
•   Updated proof of funds with bank letter and bank account statement of last 3 years


all these documents delivered on 03-Feb-2012 and i track the fee demand draft and come to known that DD was encashed on 16-Feb-2012

i was expecting address disappearing from my Ecase status or any update in next 2 weeks of DD encashment but nothing happened.

Now i again applied CAIPS on 23-Feb-2012 and will get CAIPS after 20-March-2012


Here i am confused if i will not get any update till issuance of CAIPS, will CAIPS come again empty?


should i wait for CAIPS or send them a case specific inquiry at least 2 weeks before issuance of CAIPS because some times it work as when we send CAse specific inquiry they open file and do some work. so if i send it 2 weeks before CAIPS issuance some important working of file will be reported in CAIPS. 



Here i would like to tell i have only concern with one factor that is work experience if my job duties match and VO satisfied with my JDS then remainig factors are well covered.

now what you suggest should i wait for CAIPS or send inquiry ?

Hi Qorax,
i have these questions that have being haunting me; here they are- (1) the CHC just acknowledged in it last email that my family has increased to 4 members from 3 at application in march 2010 but did not ask for childs document or processing fee! what do i do- wait for them to request or send the documents and fee.
(2) at application i had 2 1/2 yrs work experience - will CHC use the work experience at application or add up till date for me!
(3) do you suggest sending updated police certificates or wait till its requested for.
would really appreciate your advise.

Yes. Most of the times it is a positive sign. Be ready for PPR.

Would you please analys. I have been waiting for Seattle office to send me some news since my file was transferred on 14OCT12, and I checked Ecas my file was reviewed and started processing on 13Jan12. But no news or advision until yesterday they reply my email as followed:

Your file is pending for review by an immigration officer.  We will contact you after the officer reviewed Mr. XX's file. Please do not contact us unless there is a change of address or change in Mr. XX's family composition.  Please do not use the E-CAS on the website, it is not accurate and up-to-date.

Please understand that our office cannot provide you with an update of case status by email on a regular basis, but rest assured that we will contact you for the next stage of the processing of Mr. XX's file.     




My QUESTION is :

They replied me said my file is still pending review by an Immigration Offer, but how come my Ecas has that additional line "Your file is reviewed and we started process on 13Jan12? I am really confused. So that means this sentense is nothing, my points are still not be calculated?

I am really so frustrated now. How long i still need to wai, its almost 2 years.
