Hello again Qorax! I've received e-mail from the VO saying that they sent me MR in November; however I've never received it !!!! What to do? Thank you in advance! Hi, i guess you should go to the DMP closest to you with the e-mail sent from the visa office; sure he/she could get spare form to use for you +/- your family. fj6

Hello Captain,
Hope everything is going fine. One of my the members have a query, its a bit ambiguous issue, please suggest:
His post is: Hi all!
In my initial documents to Singapore in June 2010, I filled in my NOC as 4131 "College and Other Vocational Instructors". But as far as I know, the NOC hade been changed. I have just checked the NOC matrix and to my surprise, "College and Other Vocational Instructors" NOC is now 402. So am I supposed to fill in update forms with 402?
Dear captain, Waiting to hear from you.

Hi, I'm not sure what exactly is ur query [both of u], however if the Ques. is this -v, then the Ans. is that -vQ. If the NOC code of a profession has been changed by HRSDC, in further correspondences with CIC should we mention the previous one or the new one?A. Obviously we should write the new one [the changed NOC code], 'coz the previous one is non-existent.Qorax

Thanks, captain. S/he is a pre june applicant and applied in 2010 and has been using the previous NOC code for all correspondences till today. S/he has been asked by visa office to update file and forms recently. In this stage, can s/he use newer one?

Just got the solution, captain and others!! Munnabd helped me out to answer this question. The reply is here: "For individuals whose Federal Skilled Worker applications were received at the Centralized Intake Office before January 31, Citizenship and Immigration Canada has confirmed that they will be assessed according to the old NOC system. Those received after should conform to the 2011 guidelines." source: http://www.canadavisa.com/news/entry/updates-made-to-national-occupation-classification-matrix-020612.htmlCONCLUSION: Applicant will fill the form writing NOC 4131 (old system, old law applies to old applicant). NOC 4021 is to be written by applicants who will apply after Jan 31,2012

Hi seniors I am not new to the forum I been reading this for 6 months now. My Application In under process in NDVO uNDER THE CATEGORY 3142. Recently my wife had a baby I have send the passport copy, Photos and Birth certificate to the VO just wondering whether I have to send the Fees as well and do the VO accept Cheque or DD?? and how much that would be. Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated.
This has been posted many a times all over the forum, including this thread. Here's it is once more:How to add a newborn baby into an already submitted case file? After we have applied for the Canadian PR process there would be occassions when an applicant has been blessed with a newborn baby. Now, if this baby isn't 'added' into our case file & we proceed to 'land' [given that we already have the meds/PPR/PRVs already, it'd be a serious 'misrepresentation of facts' & we could face twin problems... [1]we may not be able to sponsor the baby after entering Canada, [2]we might be deported & face a 2-yrs. ban. Similalrly, if we r yet to receive our meds, and have a baby meanwhile, the situation might not be that complex, however it makes sense that we 'add' the newborn into our case file asap, else there could be inordinate delays if we don't or delay this action. Remember, as with all family members [whether accompanying or otherwise] we need to get the baby's meds done; only then s/he could move with u... AND all the PRVs [PR Visas] of the entire family must be linked to each other... that's what the IRPA regulation specifies. Nothwithstanding the foregoing, here's the procedure to 'add' the newborn into our PR case file:Prepare the following for ur VO:1. Immigration Forms:Additional Family Information (IMM 5406): http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5406E.pdf(to be signed by the PA, if the child is below 18-yrs of age)2. Children's Information:(a) Children's birth certificates (which name their parents); (b) Children's Travel Documents or Passports -Only include copies of the bio-page of the child/ren showing the pp No., date of issue and expiry, photo, name, date and place of birth. If u live in a country different from your nationality - include the copy of the page where his/her visa for the country where you currently live. -You and your family members must hold valid regular passports to obtain permanent resident visas; diplomatic, official, service or public affairs passports are not valid for immigration to Canada.3. Photo requirements:Supply four (4) recent photos for each member of your family and yourself. Follow the instructions in your guide (see “Photos” in section on completing the Application for Permanent Residence in Canada) and in Appendix B: Photo Specifications. 4. Application Fees:The processing fees are payable at the time of application. It's $150 for a family member of the PA who is less than 22 years of age and is not a spouse or common-law partner. U should file-in the Fee Payment form (IMM 5620): http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5620E.pdfSubmit the foregoing package to ur VO [not to CIO-NS].Hope that helped. Qorax

-U should have sent ur FBI report asit came-in. Why didn't u? -Send that report NOW [though it's old] and await for their notice, if any, to get another one.
Qorax
Dear Qorax, thank you for your reply. Well at the time i received them i thought the deadline for submitting all the papers had gone, so i decided not to send them But as you suggested , don't u think it is too late (it is 2010 pcc) to send it now after two years and i am afraid once i send it and before they receive it they will ask for new one. My question : will i have enough time to get a new one if they ask for ? i am really confused and worried Thanks

IMHO, sending the the previously acquired one [however old it is] could rekindle ur processing. They r likely to ask for it anyway.
