Hi Qorax,
This is Rama Rao. I filed my fsw1 NOC 0213 on 31 Aug, 2009. As of now it is still showing e-case as in processing. We are waiting for medical request.
Recently couple days ago I made general enquiry as they stated that my application is in queue for processing. 19 months over from the date of filing my appln.
Can I go for case specific enquiry? Please advise. My visa office is new york city, USA.
Thanks Rama Rao

normally 6-8 months after 2nd AOR, but if your noc is not in in new 29 noc's then it might take more time.

Hi Qorax
Looking for your help and advise here. as you have migrated from UAE,you are more aware of rules. i also have got my PR, and had made my landing visit last yr. I had gone thru driving procedure in toronto they advised me to get letter from UAE to get exemption and appear straight for road test. as my driving license is from Sharjah, when i went to traffic department they dont have letter to give in english language like what RTA in dubai issues. maybe you are aware of some guy,who also has faced such problem and whats solution to get out of this mess. maybe you can send me sample letter which RTA in dubai issues, which i can show in shj.

If you can get the letter, can't you have it translated into English?

One of my friend told me that it will take only 3 - 4 months as he is also an immigration consultant. However in leeter it is stated that it will take 8 - 12 month. if my case will not be successful then my fee will be returned to me. is it true?

Now a days it is being taken longer than normal. Average more than 12 months after 2nd AOR. Once you have been issued 2nd aor application fee will not be refunded.

RPRF is refundable. But application fee would not be refunded once your status turn into "In-Process".

Thank you for reply. But in 2AOR it is clearly written that if i am unsucessful then my fee will be returned. Now a days my estatus is showing " Inprocess ". The things wrote in side, it is out of my understanding. Detailis as under: " We received your application for permanent residence on April 2010. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. We transferred your application to the London England office on July , 2010. " What is this please help me The London England office may contact you.

Obviously your b/g checks r yet on... yes, send them a case-specific enquiry &/or fetch your CAIPS notes. Qorax
