1. CIO might not respond to ur query.
2. 347/500 is dicey. But if the cap didn't show-up for a month from the day ur apps reached u could be 'in'.

Pray!

I am really grateful for your kind support and reply, Captain. ONLY on thing  Cheesy
Do you advise me to ask CIO about my application STATUS (overall; not about cap)? is it too early?

Thnx; and sorry for inconvenience : Sad

Dear Captain Qorax,

I am writing on behalf of one of my friends.

He asked me to help regarding a documentation and want to take idea from you.

He is a pre june applicant and recently busy with preparing his documents update. He had a handsome amount in bank while he sent full docs to VO. His brother has a business where his brother's wife is the owner and Managing Director. Due to fund shortage, my friend's bro requested him to give him a loan almost 80% of his money and he did so.

Recently when he is asked to update the VO, he got return of the amount from her business and deposited to my friend's account.

In VO's letter they have instructed to justify any big deposit. Can his brother's wife give my friend any such certificate from her company? Or can he only explain in the cover letter about the situation. He is much worried about the thing but I cannot still give him go ahead opinion. Waiting to hear from you.

Regards,
deba

it is wise on the part of applicant not to disturb the fund in the account becoz at any stage in the visa process they might ask ur fund proof....since u done two major transactions u need to explain the vo the exact reason for the same otherwise u r in the mercy of vo.........all the best

Offcourse the seniors will throw more lights on ur query, but what I know is it depends upon ur security background checks and if CIC receives it on time , U will get the PPR as soon as otherwise in some cases the people had been waiting for one year and did their re-medical.

Don't worry and U will get soon and patience is the only solution for that.

Thank you so much kur for your answer, I appreciate it, you know this is our second medical, 1st one was in aug 2010.I think the securit check should be over Now.

Thank you

Its really agonizing to have patience in such cases. No way, actually. Wait to hear from VO, don't do anything proactively.

Hi guys I need your advice: I got my PER on December 13 2011 and me and my wife are planning to have our vacation on mid April, do you think it will coincide with the arrival of our medicals? We are going to our home country ,  Philippines - but our application is being processed in LVO since we are a resident here in UAE. Are we allowed to have our medicals in the Philippines?

Yes you can get your medicals done in any part of the world by a DMP. (designated by CIC/CIO)
If MR comes by e-mail you can do it in your country. If the physical forms comes then you have to make arrangements through your friends to get it by courier.

For list of DMPs in your country please visit this link

http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medicalinfo.aspx?CountryID=2009&CountryName=Philippines

best of luck.

I don't think it will come so fast.
By averages of London applicant's spread sheet MR should come by 5 to 9 months from PER i.e, after May 2012.
It depends on complexity of your case.
To be safer have a backup plan.
