Well Bro,
Let me take it from ur own query that u had posted earlier: Whether it's wise to show 'intended occupation' different than the NOC u had applied for.
The simple answer is that NO. Why? The IO's assess our files depending on (1)eligibility on the MI [whether there's demand for that NOC currently in Canada] and (2)How the applicant is going to be easily settling post 'landing'.
Now, if u apply under, say 0111 (Accountants), and state that post landing u'd take a 0213 (IT professionals) job... u maybe qualified under both... but CIC'd like to see some sort of dexterity & consistency in ur intensions, vis-a-vis the 'demand' of that occupation in Canada. There thus, s/he might be wary and might not view ur case positively.
I don't say there could be imminent rejection -- but the chances r that ur file might be kept at (a)abeyance and/or (b)any/many queries may be resorted to... Meaning: Delays!
In that column [though] u might state many NOCs that u intend to pursue... at least one of them should be the NOC that u have applied for/against. Uh yes, those 'other' NOCs that u suggest as ur alternate intended profession - must have ur skills clubbed to it. Else how? And those addnl skills must be demonstrated in ur apps via any/many docs, vis-a-vis edn / exp / trg.
I hope that clarified...
Qorax
Got it. Thanks a lot.

To my mind, no problem at all. For every application, there may be a UCI number. This application will be totally a newer one.

HI Qorax,
I need your advice, I got my PER on 11th JAN 2012. We are expecting our 2nd Child in April End or May Start.
I think by that time or even before that we will get our MR. How do i deal with this situation ?
Should I inform about this to VO as soon as i get AOR from them or what.
I am bit confused.
Regards
ZeeCee

1. U could expect ur meds around Mar-12, i.e. 24 months from the apps day. 2. They may not contact ur employer/s at all... much depends on ur case file presentation.
hi, Qorax I didn't get it, 24 months from the apps day? My case's detail: We received your application for permanent residence on January 15, 2010 We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 2, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. Your application and supporting documents were received by the Seattle office. They are pending review. We transferred your application to the Seattle office on March 10, 2010. The Seattle office may contact you. We transferred your application to the Seattle office on October 14, 2011. The Seattle office may contact you. Your application was reviewed and we started processing on January 13, 2012. My questions is do i need to wait my MR until 12Mar12 as your said? the what's 24 months of apps? 24Months passed already. 2. does it mean i passed 67 points? 3. I would like to do the medical in advance, but i called serveral clinic, they said no. also my agent called call center, they replied i can not do the medical without their forms. Thank you, Qorax.

Hi sandy415, You can apply and choose London VO. No issues. They continue to process your case at London VO even if you go back to India. If you do not get visa in 2 years and you go back to India and if the Passport Request does not come within these 2 years, you have to visit London for stamping your visa. [Once you get PPR, go & stay in London for 15 days, from Thursday to alternate Thursday, to get your visa stamped or send it personally through somebody for stamping.] If you choose New Delhi VO, at the time of PPR you have to come to India to submit your PP. NDVO takes more time as they ask MR/PPR/RPRF together and your PP will get stuck there for 3 to 6 months. Till that time without passport you can not go back to London. In both the cases you can not send and receive your passport in and out of India as it is a crime. Istead apply in London, plan legal extension beyond 2 years your exiting London visa, stay in London till you get your PR visa stamped. All the best. mycan hi qorax I am indian living in london. please can you tell me can I apply from london vo. I have two years visa still. But if donot get visa in 2 years what should i do?. please reply me.Thank you

i don't ask on the spot answer if u don't want to give then it's ok for me and one more thing don't show me ur anger Lost in Translation, Ma'am? Ur query was replied then-n-there, as u posted it [aka 'on-the-spot']. Here's the extract:U can't sanguinely know the acceptance of ur file unless CIO issues u a PER. However, it's expected that if a month since the apps were submitted the cap didn't reach - one has a fair chance to be 'in'.Qoraxdear sir, im really sorry what i have written to u plz always support me and reply me.sorry again Take care (thought of writing 'TC' - but didn't, 'coz there could be another a backlash)! Qorax
