2010 cases shouldn't be having trouble with their e-Cas after a yr. There's obviously a glitch somewhere... it'd could only be clarified by your VO, if u had been typing correctly.

Dear captain,

One of my friends have got email for update request from SGVO. He submitted his full dox in June, 2010 but his IELTS exam was in November 2009 (More than two years ago). I believe he does not need further IELTS as VO received his IELTS result just after 7/8 months from he obtained result. Still we wonder to know something from you.

Please advise.

-Probably but cannot guarantee -- 2nd AOR does though.
-Medical report must have Xray results, she may try it with a 'protective shield', but NOT RECOMMENDED.

Dear Qorax,

I have applied for FSW-1 category on December, 2009 and my e-CAS is showing 'in process' but the inside details are same as RBVO. It is being a long wait what made me frustrate. I have a question about applying for temporary work permit. Am I eligible to apply for temporary work permit in Canada as I am already an applicant for FSW-1. Please give me your kind suggestion and if yes then where do I need to send the application?
Thank you in advance,

Sincerely,
sushilmuna.

If u get an employer who could do your TWP - I see no reason for worries.

Dear Qorax,

I have already posted my query in other forum but I could't get reply. I hope that you will be helpful:

Hi Ever body,

I am in very confused situation. On 14 December 2011 I asked CHC London to release my original documents on my new mailing address in London. After this I repeatedly sent two more reminders on the same subject as I urgently need my documents in order to apply for my work visa in Norway. Yesterday I received two e-mails with time difference of 1 minute. Ist e-mail contained the following reply:

Dear Madam / Sir,

We have received your request with your new address, and the information has been updated to reflect your new contact details. Note that the change of address made by our office may not be reflected on E-Cas. Also note that we will not confirm receipt of fax/ mail/ email received at this office but your file will be updated.

Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post to the applicant at the mailing address provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.

Your documents have been received and placed on file. No further action is required by you at this time.

Second e-mail (contains only five words) indicates that my new file number will be the same as of issued by Nova Scatia rather than issued by CHC London  in 2nd AOR.

This is notable that for last few days my address was disappeared from e-case status and since yesterday my e-case status is showing the same old mailing address which I quoted previously while I sent complete application with original documents to CHC London.

Can you please analyse the situation and reply me that:
1-what is happening with my case?
2- Has my address been updated? If yes then why my old mailing address is again appeared in e-case status?
3- Why in second e-mail I am told that my new file number will be the same as of my old file number issued by Nova Scotia?
4- Has CHC London released my original documents? If not what should I do to get back my original documents at the earliest?

I will be very grateful to you for guidance.

with best regards

This is a generic response to most queries by the staff [note: it's not sent by ur IO]. And they do not seem to dwell much on the contents of applicant's letters... just the catch-phrase/s [in your case 'Address Change'] - and bong goes the reply... if at all they respond.

1. It's in process... they r working on your file.
2. Yes, 99%. They do so imdtly on their system. However, the e-Cas takes a while - it's managed by a different cell of CIC.
3. A staff's perception to ur query, S/he thought that u wanted to know about logging-into ur e-CAS.
4. Probably not. U'd require a bit more pestering. In ur next email write 'only' about docs return [nothing else whatsoever].

Thank you Qorax, you are really amazing. I trust that I am not bothering you but I really want to know that:

How much time CHC London will take to return back my documents?
How often I need to remind them about returning of documents?
Someone advised e that sending a letter rather than e-mail will work quickly?

kind regards

1. Cannot be anticipated... CIC is known to be pretty slow in originals return. In many cases they'd need them till meds [ie. when ur b/g checks gets to be over] - b4 that it'd be a hard call.

2. Pester on - till the time they understand the urgency. Sorry!

3. Makes no difference - hard copy or electronic comn - they meet the same fate. Unless there's a 'live or die' situation - they'd be responded to by a Front Office Staff [locally recruited - not necessarily Canadian]. Sorry again!

Dear Qorax, Pre-June 2010 candidates from SGVO have started getting letters for udpated docs, however NDVO still seems to be in a deep slumber and for a case specific query I got a reply from NDVO in December 2011 that files between Feb 2008 and Pre June 2010 most likely will not be processed in 2012, I have submitted my full docs in July 2010 and got the 2nd AOR in July itself, according to you do I stand a chance of getting MR in 2012?
