Hi Qorax,

I seek some advice:

I applied in NOC 0213 for my PR on May 17, 2010 and received my second AOR from Buffalo in May 2011. I have a valid work permit till May 2013. I am also eligible for PNP certification now.

Should I go for another PR application as a Provincial Nominee or am I expected to get a decision on my existing application before May 2013?

Please advise. I appreciate your time and help.

U should be able to make it in 2013... however, if u can, a new application could surely help u. It'd likely complete in a yr.

2010 applicants could take 24+ months to complete the process. U should expect the meds by Feb-Mar 2012.
If u apply again in 2012 u'd complete the process by 2013. Within the same time your 2010 apps should materialize as well.

Qorax

Respected Qorax,
Consultants in our city are saying that 2010 applicants have to wait 48 months to complete
the process, while our lawyer in Canada denies, you said its 24+ ...is this just a prediction??

Hi,

I applied on 8th August 2011. I also got the file number few week before. But till date didn't get PER or NER. So I send mail to CIO few days before. Today I got message from him “Your file is still pending final review and decision by our office. You will be contacted in due course.” So what does it means. Is there PER is completed or not?

As of now the 2009 applicants should complete their process in 36+ months. Send them a query, or fetch your GCMS extract.

Thankyou ,Sir

Simply put: U'll not make it.

Cry
Thanks for the reply sir. So you think there is no use trying now?
Then i'll apply as soon as cap reopens july 2012.
the following documents are yet to be obtained :

1- Work experience letters ( I am currently working in NOC 2121 with 2+ years experience )
2- POF letter from bank
3- Police verification
4- Relationship proof (husband's brother in Canada)
5- Photographs
6- Translations
Which of these do you reckon I should obtain ASAP (the ones which could be 6+ months old when i apply).

Another query ( As if i haven't already asked too much  Smiley ), I do not have education in the same field as my NOC, that is, I do not have any biological sciences degree, in fact i am bachelors/masters/PhD in Physics. But part of my job description matches with the one given on hrsdc website for 2121. Would this have any negative impact on my application. I am currently doing research work in biophysics which qualifies as biological scientist. What do you think about this.

Thank again for your time and effort.  Smiley

Sir Qorax, Please respond to my query when you have time. Thanks.

Dear Qorax!

I am Pre June 25th 2010 applicant.  My E Case is showing this info.

Question:
1-Why the transfer activity is mentioned twice at UK office?   They are transferring where to where?  Please elaborate it for me.    In your view point, how much more time they will take to send medicals?

"We received your application for permanent residence on November 23, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on January 25, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the London England office on February 4, 2010. The London England office may contact you.

We transferred your application to the London England office on July 27, 2010. The London England office may contact you.

E Case changed in Process on July 2011

Hi Qorax!

How useful is the CIIP (Canadian Immigration Integration Programme)which is organized by the Canadian government? Would it help in getting an idea about the current situation in Canada, employment prospects in different provinces etc? If there is anyone out there who has gone through this programme in recent times, kindly share your experience

Regards
