Hi Friends and seniors in the forum (specially Qorax, Dr. Hasib, Sonir),

I have completed 15 months from the 2nd AOR. Kinda frustrating but keeping fingers crossed. I have a few doubts, concerns and questions. If you can just spare a little of your valuable time to answer me, I would be ever grateful.

1) In my CAIPS report, one line was mentioned

Missing documents : Proof of birth PA and spouse

(because I didnt send the copy of birth certificates of myself and my wife)

Now my question is shall I send the copy of birth certificates of mine and my wife immediately
or shall I wait for their instructions.

Some senior memebers on the forum say that BC is a mandatory document and the application is likely to be rejected without it. For the last 12 months my ECAs status says In Process with RBVO inside

2) I have a job offer from Muscat - Oman. Very good salary. I am in a dilemma that shall I accept it
or not. Can I transfer my case to Muscat - Oman (CHC). Will it affect the timelines.

3) But the visa which they are offering me is not the same profession as the job ie.
    Accountant.

Can you please clarify on this. Thanks

1. Send the B/Certs imdtly. It's unavailability on your file delays the processing unnecessarily. No, they might not reject u but keep it gestating [sometimes indefinitely].

2. Go ahead with that offer. It wouldn't have any considerable effect on your processing. However, your file wouldn't [usually, automatically] be transferred to the processing VO of Oman [CHC-London]. U might yet keep it as it is, while just changing your address of correspondence.

3. Doesn't matter.

Good luck.

Dear Qorax,

According to my status, is it feasible to ask for CAIPS now?

hi i am new hear. I applied as federal skilled worker under NOC 3131 pharmacists. My application was just delivered today at Nova Scotia CIO office as advised by fedex. As of november 15 there are already 491 applicants for pharmacists. Is there still a chance that my application be reviewed before they reach the 500 cap? How many days do they usually review the documents for completeness after the application reached their office? Thanks.

Dr. Hassib, Qorax,

Need your opinion on this. Thanks so much.

chance is 50-50...if 10+ applications under your noc reached CIC on Nov 18 then it would be a tough call.

Thanks Dr. Hassib. If ever my application did not fall in the 500 cap when are they going to return it? Will they notify me thru email or will they just return my application?

Do you think the cap for pharmacists will reset in 2012?

Thanks so much for replying.

Hello Qorax,

Got ur reference from Dr. Hasib.

Please answer one question for me.

Even though I passed out of my BDS in 2001.
My profession experience is only about 4 years out of which 2.6 yrs is dental work.
1.2 yrs working in a private clinic ( I have got experience letter from this clinic with all details of work done mentioned)
1.4 yrs in a dental college & hospital ( I did dentist work here and the principal has agreed to mention that in experience letter )
(current)1.4 yrs in multi-specialty hospital as marketing manager.
I get 67 points if I can show 3 yrs work experience.

As you can see my experience is staggered with many gaps, and also my current experience is not as a dentist.
Do you think it will adversely effect my chances. Should I apply or not ?

Regards,
Dr. Shalini
