Dear Qorax,
I didn`t get any immunization form for my kids with COPR , so please tell how to get this format. I couldn`t  read from your IMMUNIZATION FORM. So guide, please.
Thanks,
Monty

Hi, montycan,

You can do the following.
1. If you are planning to land after few months, e-mail VO and ask the form
2. Download from health care website and take to the doctor or vaccinator to write the vaccination record, with their sign and stamp
3. Ask if someone received the same form can send you the scan or copy use it, (it is acceptable)

Following are the links to print form (it is not the same format but it will be acceptable by school) for further information visit the other links.

Health documentation
"Children in Canada are vaccinated—also called immunized—beginning when they are newborns. Vaccinations help to prevent serious infections or diseases.
When you travel to Canada, bring official documents that state what vaccinations you and your family have already had. If you or your child has not been vaccinated, call your doctor or local public health clinic right away.
In Canada, immunization or vaccination records are required for children to enroll in school."

Dear quorax and all,
My husabnd, child and me have been received the PR visa. Planning to move in Jan 2012.
1. My husband is the PA. He is planning to move in the month of Jan 2012. I am planing to move in April.  I understand PA needs to show the prescribed POF at the imm.section at AIRPORT. is it right? (yes it is right)
&  do I need to show the POF when I land. if yes How? (No, you don't need to be)
2. Reg. goods carrying and goods to follow list:
PA will submit the  list of carrying goods as well as goods to follow at the airport( in Jan 2012). Can I bring other goods which are not mentioned in the goods to follow list of the PA? ( If only personal use items, cloths, kids wears etc.. I think no problem , If valuable and duty products, like expensive items, electronics, jewellary etc.. you have to pay duty and customs according to the CBSA rules)Plz guide me

Hi Qorax,

1. Generic Application , 3rd Column "How many family members including you are in this application" .
Does mother and father would be considered to be a part of family here.
2. Generic Application Column 10 - "Current Country Of residence"
I came to canada as a studen and currently working , so what should be the from and to date, would it be the date I landed in canada (from date)
and today's date (to date as there is nothing to type till date)

Thanks
Sandy

1. Family members: you spouse and kinds only
2. Current Country of Residence: Canada, landed date till present

Hope its help,

Dear Qorax Sir,

I see a lot of people on the forum do Advanced medicals. Right now I see Buffalo VO transfer applications of applicants who applied towards end of 2009(Nov and Dec) to other VOs', not sure if we mar 2010 applicants are in next queue.

Need your help and guidance on Advanced medicals. Please see my timeline attached. Can you please confirm if it is good to get the advanced medicals done ?

Any suggestion from your end is welcomed, thanks in advance

Hi Qorax,

I am a bit doubtful while filling the following forms . I am single so do I need to fill or include these forms.
In the Instruction guide , it is nowhere mentioned that you can skip those forms (instead it is written that those are must)

Your help will be very much appreciated.
Thanks

IMM 5409 - Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union
IMM 5604 - Separation Declaration for Minors Travelling to Canada
IMM 0008 DEP - Additional Dependants/Declaration

Hi Qorax,

How long it will take to change my status on E-Case from "RBVO" To "In Process"?

My time line is:
Application received by Nova Scotia Central intake office on 8th April, 2011.
They sent me email notifying my File Number. EXXXXXXX. on 11th May, 2011.
From June on E-Case it shows "RBVO". (Buffalo Visa office- USA)

I am worried now.....because its been 4 months and its same E-Case Status.

Please explain if you know about time line of Buffalo Visa Office.

Thanks,

Andy

Hi Qarax,

I have a doubt in IMM 5669E[1] >  12 . "List all address where you have lived since your 18th birthday" .

I lived in a hostel since I was 10 but I use to visit my house sometimes on weekends or on vacations. Now I am confused because I never lived at my home for long and as soon I finished my study , I went for my job.

What do you think , how can I fill this section . Should I not mention my home address at all because times were negligible.Wouldn't it sound weird not to mention home address in the form.

Thanks

You actually lived in the hostel and visited your home. You see, visiting and living is not same. So, you should consider hostel your residing place.

If I remember it, there was an instruction which says if you stay there for more than 6 months.. because for that you need to submit Police clearance as well.

hope it helps

Of course, its in the guideline. You must show the address where you lived 180 days within the last 10 years. It can be your hostel, your home. Anyway, are not your home and your hostel in the same country? If it is in the same country, one PCC is okay but if they are not, definitely you have to submit 2 different PCC (for living more than or equal to 6 months). Hope this will work. For any further assistance, pls don't hesitate to PM me.

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL!!! Its is really based on VO quota guys! Some guys got their app returned at the 8th of july because the quota for they VO had been reached, and some others that had their app filed in 8th of july onward, like me from Brazil, didnt fill up the quota of the respective VO. So thats why we havent been contacted yet....how do I know it?? because I have just received an answer from CIO about the inquiry of my app:

Good Afternoon.

Your submission is with our office and is awaiting initial processing. You will be contacted in due course.

Thank you

D.A.

So, if it is awaiting initial processing, it means it is in the quota. Im so HAPPY guys!!!! Good luck for everyone that hasnt received a answer yet! You probably are in the quota as well!
