Dear Qorax

as i have to submit my PCCs to NDVO,

i have obtained indian pcc recently. But my UK's n US ' pccs are old ones say about a year old. Since i have never visited those countries after that, would NDVO accept those PCCs? or they will ask me get fresh ones? pls guide i have read somewhere in the forum that they accept old PCCs in such cases but i am not sure about this.

i received additional documents ( RPRF,PCC,Marriage proof) request on 30th sep 11 and i have dispatched all the documents today.
i am hoping to hear from you soon as PCC from UK is making me nervous now, i dont know how VO is goin to react.
just FYI my UK's PCC completed its one year 29th sep 11
US' PCC will complete its one year on 19th oct 11.
indian PCC is fresh one obtained a week ago.

Today MY E-CASE changed to In Process i.e on oct 6th

           I got an email from CHC "Your application has been reviewed by an officer and is pending the final decision. You will be notified once all steps are complete"

Plz can u assist me what does this mean and how long it will take to make final decicion by officer.....

Dear Qorax,

I am facing a strange situation, In my passport there is no surname but in COPR and in Visa they had put up my name in place of Surname . Kindly guide me what should I do , can I fly on this or have to contact CHC for rectification.

PA's Name & ID/Passport No/Address/.... Just for identification that the BD is yours. Make sure it is valid for 6months from the date of issue. Check the encashment of BD with bank after 2-3 months. This may be an indication of initial acceptance of your case! All the best. May god bless.

hi after a long period i need your comments/Suggestion again regarding one of my friend Mr Imran

he is applicant of post 26 feburary 2008 his application receive in 26 Feb 2008, when he was in London and applied from there , NOW situation is bit change he come back Pakistan in end of 2008 but haven't receive anything after Receiving the first acknowledgment letter now he want to :

Change his Permanent Address and Resident address (currently he have his uncle address in London)
Martial Status (married now with one infant)

and pls mentioned if you know any thing about the application in this Period (FEB 2008) and suggestion and opinion

i filed my application for NOC 3113 (dentist) was recieved by CIC on August 25, 2011. despite all the care and effort i put in completing my application i feel that i have made a few mistakes such as:

1. didnt provide information for a few months in between school and college admission in my personal history.
2. forgot to write 'to date' in the current job period of my spouse
3. provided all the detail of proof of my relation in Canada but didnt mention that he is my maternal uncle.
4. though my job experience is of 4 years and 9 months full time but the working hours every week has been 36. while CIC says that they consider a full working week of atleast 37.5 hours.

i am afraid that my application might be returned on one of the following missing information.
now the question is that i have another set of application ready for sending. but i fear that if i wait to long for AOR or even worse NER the Cap for 3113 will be filled which is currently at 146. i want to know that should i send the new application or should i keep on waiting for AOR or NER. as u r a senior memeber i am really looking for ur advise in this matter. PAPER FILE SENT TO PUP FILE BF'D  TO: R2M ON 29-04-2011 MICROLOCATOR

I was fighting with visa officer he objected my ielts score, in responce i sent him more informtation about year ago after that i did ielts again. And score better then b4 i send also that ielts to visa office 20 days b4. As per my old ielts score only 6 immigration points and now as per new i score 8 points.
my all points are 80 now the question is?
1- If VO not satisfied  then why he taking long?
2- After making positive decision on my application why they are not sending Medicals?
3- What do you think about SEC and CRAIM Decision they started my security check from last year why? i read in PMM post that when visa officer fully satisfied he start Security check on application.
please tell me when they start security check after in process or when vo satisfied that PA meet immigration requirment?
4- what does it mean PUP in my BFD. i see in one guy letter in the bottom they written PUP Unite.
if my file with PUP UNITE what does PUP do?
5- i sent email to visa office London on  28 sep 2011 till now no reply why? many people get with in one to two days please helpe me.

hi,
   i plan my landing in this month. we are family of 4 (2 adults+2 infants). Accordingly i need to carry 20670cad. Now can i split this amount in mine as my wife's name
eg: me n my wife 3000CAD cash each
     me n my wife 8000CAD travellers cheques each.

Also we plan to stay there for a month or so. so when we return from canada to india we would have around 1000CAD cash n travellers cheques of 8000CAD each. I was just wondering if we would have any problems at the canadian airport while returning. I mean would they have any restrictions when we r returning back. also will there be any issue at Indian airport on returning regarding bringing the dollars back.
