As I understand - it is NOT MANDATORY to have a degree in Social Sciences to apply under NOC4152. This is for the PR processing - getting a job in most of the provinces of Canada w/out a relevant degree, is another matter.
As long as one has enough/credible/substantial/provable/documented experience in the field of work -- PR wouldn't be an issue. Thus, I believe with your BSS & 5yrs experience u should be fine.
Good luck ! Qorax
Dear Master Qorax, I have a BA degree in English Literature and have 4 years of professional experience in NGOs. Do you think my education qualification will not affect my eligibility to be an applicant as skilled worker for NOC 4152. Please help!!

Proof of fund
I submitted bank statement (Bank account) as PoF while submitting the complete documents in January 2011. Now, i want to transfer my money from bank account to fixed deposit account.
Q1. can i do that
If yes, then Q2. do i needs to inform CHC aswell?
If answer of both the above questions are yes, then if CHC would ask about the bank statement at the time of MEDICAL CAll, i can simply transfer my money from fixed deposits to bank account. Will that be OK then?
Please reply...its important because life is getting expensive and having money for a longer time period in a simple bank account is tough. Everyone want his money in some kind of profit scheme (fixed deposits, etc etc)

As you are sending all the applications together as PA you can send CAD1250/- in single BD/DD only. Do not forget to write the details behind BD/DD. I am answering for the first time. Seniors please provide your input.
Hi mycan, thank you for your reply. yes i have gotten the 1,250 in one BD this morning. what details do i need to write at the back? Once again, thanks, and for all the others who will be replying.
God bless everyone.

Dear Dr.Hasib/Qorax, This morning I sent my additional documents about my working experience to CIO as in my initial application,I never mention about main duties. I understand my situation is 50-50. So let see and wait. Now I prepared all of my require documents in case CIO say my application is incomplete. Otherwise if I got my PER, I am very happy. Any comments? I will keep update my situation and I will follow up this case by email and by phone. So do you have any email and phone number to enquiry? Let me know. Regards, Myat Dear myat, CIC usually encash credit card if the application is “complete” (incomplete applications don't get encased and get returned to applicants mailing address) So, YES, your credit card will get encased soon. After encashment CIC will review your application and might issue you NER. Previously all applicants who got NER got refunded by CIC; however, some applicants who got NER recently claimed that CIC didn't refund them. So it's a bad news for you.
What should you do now:
I think you should immediately send (by post) new work exp ref letters signed and dated by your referee(mentioning main duties..salary..etc) to CIO and a cover letter explaining the whole situation. In the cover letter, inform CIO that your referee forgot to mention main duties and since it's considered as a big mistake you are sending those ref letters once again. Don't forget to mention your full name, DOB, nationality, passport number, NOC, date application sent, Date app received by CIO. Also sign and date your cover letter.
N.B: CIO might or might not accept your additional papers, so chance is 50-50 BR Dr.Hasib

PA's Name & ID/Passport No/Address/.... Just for identification that the BD is yours. Make sure it is valid for 6months from the date of issue. Check the encashment of BD with bank after 2-3 months. This may be an indication of initial acceptance of your case! All the best. May god bless.

Dear Qorax/ Dr.Hasib,
I am thinking one way for my application. Can I send another application file package as my existing application is not complete because of lack of main duties in my reference letter from previous employer?? I have all original documents with me, like original IELTS... how do you think? May be this time I will use different credit card, in case I can know which application detect my card.
Please let me know 1) can I submit new application(now existing application have not start yet) or 2) I have to wait until my result come out(PER or NER) Really want to know and waiting for your reply,
Regard, Myat
